Please note that as you are editing the page "Tamboura" all such instruments must be included. However much you regard the instrument as a Croatian icon, it exists in other countries. You appear to have destroyed information regarding this instrument in other countries. You are welcome to make representations of your views on the talk page, to produce references and an account of differences between similar instruments of different localities. National costume[edit]

Ok, what is a problem? You are removing picture, doing what ever you think is right without any consultation? You think that is ok? Please be more polite and friendly. What you know about Sekely people costume, colors etc... It is much better if you do some consultation with somebody (not necessary with me, but somebody who know). Thanks in advance.----László (talk) 22:26, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Outesticide! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 942 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Hello[edit]

Hello, i have noticed that you reverted my move [2] and others. I explained in the history my motives for this. Can you please explain why did you reverted? This edit also? [3] , since Hungarian was not the official language then and we are talking about Avram Iancu, an ethnic Romanian. Chears.Adrian (talk) 17:24, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

About Avram Iancu, you are right. I checked, it was my mistake. The German or Latin name should be used, but since I don`t know the Latin name for that village I inserted the German one. About Sandor Egeresi and others, it may be a part of the Serbization , but from what I can gather from your user page I would tell that you live in Vojvodina. For instance, in your ID (Licna karta), your name appears in Serbian version regardless of your ethnicity as mine too therefore I thought that we should use the Serbian version as a primary. I guess we need somebody else to clarify this. I know that both Hungarian and Romanian (beside other languages) are official but in any official document it is used the Serbian version of some particular name. Adrian (talk) 19:23, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ou, I did`t saw the example of the Istvan Pastor and others, this clarifies things, it is correct as you moved it by it`s native name. I apologize for the inconvenience. I did`t saw other examples. Chears. Adrian (talk) 20:50, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think that is maybe because he is born/live in Serbia where the sole official language is Serbian. Adrian (talk) 21:01, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, general practice with article naming is the following: the article title should generally be the name by which the subject is most commonly known, the subject's full name should be given in the lead paragraph. With names is Eastern-name order (Hungarian, Chinese etc.), the Western name order should be used, but here is a special template to show the Eastern name order eg.

which should be put above the lead. (see in John Hunyadi )

Ethnicity may be indicated if this is relevant for the person's notability. Please note that some editors view that official names must always be given prominence over minority languages and the latter must be kept low-key with respect to the names (people, places) in dominant ethnies' language. Another issue is how to refer to Hungarians from Romania and Serbia. Romanian editors support the formula: X.Y. Romanian Hungarian writer, or Romanian-born ethnic Hungarian politician and even for the past like X.Y. Austro-Hungarian born Romanian politician. This is not universally accepted eg. Poles will never call Piłsudski a Russian-born Polish general. Rokarudi--Rokarudi 09:59, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

German names[edit]

The rule applies to Hungarian settlements too, not only for Vidra de Sus: [4] [5] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.117.222.148 (talk) 07:26, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Alexander Albrecht[edit]

Hello Outesticide. May I ask you, why did you make this edit? The link leading to Slovakia instead of Slovaks is somehow important for you, and I'm just curious why :) What does mean "See cite" in your edit summary? I'm a bit familiar with the problematic situation between Slovaks and Hungarians and I've noted the "renaming battles" here on Wikipedia - is there and relation? Do you know any compositions or the life story of Alexander Albrecht? Kind regards. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 16:46, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Please stop what you doing to various articles, like you done here: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Stevan_Sremac&action=historysubmit&diff=410053317&oldid=409403026 Like it or not, name of that country was Austrian Empire and article about Kingdom of Hungary is named Kingdom of Hungary, not Hungarian Kingdom. As for Hungarian names of cities, usage of such names is historically justified in relation to medieval Kingdom of Hungary of in relation to 1867-1918 Kingdom of Hungary, but not in relation to period of direct Austrian rule when German language was main language. We can discuss issue on any talk page, but if you continue with vandalism and POV nationalistic edits, I will report you to the administrators. PANONIAN 06:29, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
