Thanks for your additions to the Kent State University articles. In regards to the Premier Flight Academy, the sources indicate that the Academy is an independent institution now affilliated with KSU, not a program established by or exclusively run by KSU. --JonRidinger (talk) 02:47, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The sources provided from KSU specifically state that PMA is a private industry, not a public school. Further, they have a small affilliation with KSU just for a non-degree certification program. In other words, students majoring in Aeronautics at KSU probably wouldn't do much of anything with PMA and PMA is not overseen by or under the direction of KSU except for the certification program, and even then it's a loose oversight and all the teachers are PMA instructors, not KSU. It's much more a partnership than a full-blown affiliation. The source describes it as a "noncredit workshop" that is "offered" by KSU through the Office of Continuing Studies. “To the best of our knowledge, this type of entrepreneurial partnership between a public university and private industry for flight training is unique,” says Jeff Kressin, president of Premier Flight Academy. “We’re thrilled to partner with Kent State in this opportunity to meet a growing need for safe and successful flight training for international pilots.” (emphasis added). The University infobox is for actual colleges or universities, not private business that has a partnership with one. As for the KSU template, it really should link to the Aeronautics program rather than PMA; there are many companies and organizations that have partnerships with KSU. --JonRidinger (talk) 04:53, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, the Shield of the Trinity diagram is quite blurry in this photo. It should also have been uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, not English Wikipedia (en.wikipedia is interested in few uploads other than "fair use" images, and images narrowly about the internal processes and procedures of en.wikipedia itself, at this point). The article Premier Flight Academy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Routine coverage, it's a non-notable flight school, fails WP:GNG/WP:ORG. Ineligible for looser criteria of WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES as it is not accredited and degree-awarding.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ☆ Bri (talk) 15:52, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
