Your edits[edit]

Hello, thanks for your edits. However, there are some minor formatting issues with them (e.g. we prefer to spell out the word "number", dates are never formatted with a "0" in front of them, there is a lack of italics, and you're using apostrophes instead of quotation marks ... along with overuse of article subject's first names. Please see my edits to Johnny O'Keefe. Also, if you have aconflict of interest relating to Rolling Stone Australia, you should declare it on your user page; see the Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. Your recent edits show that you have not read my message. If you continue to not respond to messages here, you may be blocked. Graham87 10:16, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hey there! Apologies, I hadn't actually seen the previous message until now, since all I saw was the previous welcome message (and my knowledge of Wikipedia talk pages is limited, but slowly growing)! Thanks for letting me know about the formatting issues – I'll keep that in mind for future edits! I've just popped up a lot of Rolling Stone stuff since it comes up on an RSS feed I keep an eye on while I'm at work, and since I've noticed a lot of Australian music stuff doesn't get noticed until months down the line. Hey, sounds cool and fair enough. Happy editing! Graham87 07:02, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Using templates[edit]

Hey, I liked your recent edits. The only problem with them was that you didn't close the italics properly. In the code ''Rolling Stone Australia''{{'}}s, the last bit refers to the template {{'}}, which produces an apostrophe after the italic text. ''Rolling Stone Australia'''s doesn't work because three apostrophes refer to bold markup. Maybe it would be easier for you to rephrase the sentence to say something like "In December 2020, XXX were listed by Rolling Stone Australia in their "50 Greatest Australian Artists of All Time" issue. Graham87 07:15, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, thank you for that! It all looked fine when I viewed it in the preview, but I had a sneaking suspicion something I was unaware of was probably amiss regardless. I'll try to make sure I get it right next time around using that suggestion of yours! Thanks again ! Panixect (talk) 21:35, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
