License tagging for Image:Tom brady.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Tom brady.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:11, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Free and non-free content

[edit]

Please do not replace free images with non-free ones, as you did at Tom Brady. The non-free ones will be deleted as either copyright violations or replaceable fair-use images, and the article will be left with no image at all. -Hit bull, win steak(Moo!) 16:08, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tom Brady

[edit]

Please stop making it appear as if Brady was officially invited to the 2007 Pro Bowl. He never was. Even if he was, he never accepted the invitation, and thus there's absolutely no reason that he should be listed as attending the Pro Bowl (and by extension having 4 Pro Bowls on his resume). December 2007

[edit]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to 2007 New England Patriots season. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Pats1 T/C 19:33, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

May 2012

[edit]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Avengers (2012 film). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. TriiipleThreat (talk) 16:39, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Citation on Tom Brady

[edit]

Hey there! I'm currently working to bring Tom Brady back up to Good Article status, and as such, I'm just trying to make sure all of our citation ducks are in a citation row. Do you have a link to the fact that 16 passes in a row (or is it 20/23) is a Super Bowl record? The sentence is a little confusing and requires copyediting, but that'll be no big deal if it's factually accurate. As to the "unspectacular" versus "played well", I think it might be better to just quote his 91.1 NFL Passer Rating and let the reader decide. And if you'd like to help me out on bringing it up to GA, I'd love to have you. Many hands make light work. Achowat (talk) 16:19, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
