Hi There

When I saw your User Page for the very first time I fell into a comatose state for at least ten minutes due to my minds inability to comprehend the dazzling beauty, when I finally woke up from my daze and read that you "simply love to design Wiki pages" I knew that my purpose in life was to have a User Page as beautiful as yours, So please if you are not too busy I'd love for you to create a Wiki page for me.

Hey, but Phaedriel doesn't appear to be active at the moment. Sorry! Jonathan 02:22, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Aoife.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Aoife.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 02:54, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Image:Aoife2.jpg

I have tagged Image:Aoife2.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Some examples can be found at Wikipedia:Use rationale examples. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you. Kelly hi! 02:54, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:IPNA_ref34.PNG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Hi Phaedriel! Just wanted to say thanks for the nice message on my page, and that I've not departed Wikipedia by any means, just that non-wiki life has caught up with me, and brought me to the level of occasional edits and contributions. I hope this message finds you well

Dear Phaedriel,

You don't know me, and I don't know you, at least apart from what I've read of your userpage. What I do know is that you're missed by a great number of Wikipedians, including Chrislk02, who let me know that you designed his userpage for him, and has given me permission to adapt it to my uses.

Reading your userpage has brought a tear to my eye, both your essay about wikilove and your lament for Wikipedians past. Anyhow, I hope this message finds you well, and that one day you may return to once again grace Wikipedia with your caring thoughtful words and that we can get to know eachother.

With the warmest wikilove, xeno (talk) 00:09, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Dear Phaedriel,
I agree completely with the kind words of xeno. The best thing I read on a Wiki lately. On the Dutch Wikipedia there is much quarrel, sometimes sheer hostility, and it is refreshing to see something completely different.
Thank you right from the heart! On the Dutch wiki I've named myself KeesInvites and has not (yet) contributed to this wiki. 217.122.224.234 (talk) 07:54, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi Phaedriel

I was attempting to create a page on the clothing designer Christopher Tod however it shows that you deleted content already written about him. Can I please ask why? He is turning into one of the most refreshing new t-shirt designers (in my opinion) going these days. His AD/HD t-shirt is turning into one of the most copied shirt on the Internet and the show Entourage has featured several of his shirts. I am anxious to add information that I have obtained but it's a waste of my time if you plan on deleteing content written.

Thank you, R Tellone —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rtellone (talkcontribs) 03:55, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

It's doubtful Phaedriel will be deleting the article any time soon as she is on a wikibreak of indeterminate length. If you like, I can retrieve the text of the article which has been deleted three times, each for failing to make an assertion of notability of the subject. Since this was all back in 2007, it's quite possible that he now satisfies our criteria for notability which is found at WP:BIO. –xenocidic (talk) 03:59, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Modest boost in assessed articles during September

WikiProject Oklahoma's massive list of unassessed articles got smaller over the month of September, as 45 articles were assessed by bots and editors. Assessments made on August 31 bring the total to 62 assessed articles over the 31-day period. On September 15, BetacommandBot assessed 40 articles from no-class to stub and start class. This bot automatically updates the talk pages of articles included in more than one WikiProject if at least one WikiProject has already assessed the material, bringing each interested WikiProject's ratings into compliance with the assessment. No B-class or higher quality assessments were given out over September, and only a small handful of importance assessments were granted. On August 31, one Low, Mid, and High importance rating was given to three separate articles. Leroy McGuirk was given the lone high-importance rating.

Oklahoma categories receive help from Texan

TexasAndroid, an administrator, assisted WikiProject Oklahoma by categorizing nearly 100 Oklahoma-related pages on September 24. The additions were made mainly to Tulsa-related pages. "I've done the major cities in Texas in the past, and was thinking about what to do next, and decided to stay relatively close to home for now. Thus OK's big cities got done," TexasAndroid wrote on his user page.

Meet WikiProject Oklahoma's "sub-project"

Taskforce Tulsa, a collaboration of editors operating under WikiProject Oklahoma, has been created to increase the scope of Wikipedia's coverage of Tulsa and its surrounding areas. Taskforce Tulsa is many things, but most importantly, it is a way for editors to have a place to put Tulsa-related requests (pictures, article, expansion, collaboration) for other editors interested in Tulsa. News, guidelines, and category trees related to Tulsa articles can easily be accessed and added through the task force's project page. The taskforce is not its own WikiProject. Instead, it works in conjunction with WikiProject Oklahoma to increase the quality and scope of Tulsa-related material. Because of the increased clutter and unnecessary waste of space that would be created with a new WikiProject, editors have opted for a taskforce, or workgroup project. Rather than having a Wikiproject Oklahoma banner as well as a Wikiproject Tulsa banner on most Tulsa-related pages, editors can simply add the Tulsa Taskforce note onto the existing Wikiproject Oklahoma banner. Cleaner, clearer, and more efficient. In edit mode, such a banner would appear as this: "{{WikiProject Oklahoma|class=FA|importance=Top|tulsa-task-force=yes}}". In other words, simply adding "tulsa-task-force=yes}}" to the existing Wikiproject Oklahoma banner on an article's talk page would include that article into the Tulsa Task Force. According to an explanation on the taskforce's project page, "The Tulsa Task Force is a 'sub-wikiproject' operating 'beneath' Wikiproject Oklahoma, and is designed to assist it by focusing specifically on Tulsa-related material. Editors who are interested in expanding knowledge of Tulsa on Wikipedia may wish to consider themselves part of Taskforce Tulsa as well as Wikiproject Oklahoma." Interested parties can sign up much like a stand-alone WikiProject.

Awaiting your return

This user knows that this is the 6249th day since Phaedriel last edited on Wikipedia.
Phaedriel

It has been exactly one year since you left us at WikipediaTM. So much has occurred. Many people came. Many people stayed. Many people left forcibly or voluntarily. To an outsider, WikipediaTM seems like a battleground of many different colliding egos, which causes rising dramazors of things which don't matter. Some people make WikipediaTM good...no, I mean, really, really great...for outsiders to give WikipediaTM a chance to improve content — big or small.

Phaedriel, you are one in a million. Whenever people were really stressed out and on the brink of giving up this project, you were there to encourage them to give the project another chance. You were there lifting people's spirits through poetry or telling wise words when they were down due to issues on WikipediaTM or "real life". It's the small things which matter, and right now...those small things are missing, because you are away from us.

We all miss you and love you. — miranda

Just a short message, is all. I still miss you, Sharon, and think of you and your family often. Still hoping you'll return one day, and maybe get in contact. We'll see. Love, Allie - Alison 03:53, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

I totally agree with Miranda and Alison here. Rarely a day has gone by when I stop by to check your contribs only to find that you still haven't returned. I hope one day we might resume contact, but whatever is going on in your life right now is much more important than any of the squabbling that goes around over here. See you, bibliomaniac15 04:13, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
I never got the chance to really thank you for designing my userpage. I've been checking your contribs too only to realize you still haven't returned. I hope you can work out the things in your life that are important to you. Perhaps one day I'll see you somewhere around here and I'd be like... "zomg! HAI!" :D Anyways, we do miss you. - Jameson L. Tai talkcontribs 04:54, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Just a little message

Hello Phaedriel. You will most certainly not know me since we have not yet met on the WP. I just happened to have stumbled over one of your comments on an article I was reading a few days ago. As it is a habit of mine to regularly check out the user pages of fellow editors, I had a look at yours.

That brings me to my point: I was simply enchanted by your userpage - and I mean the content, not the design. I couldn't keep from smiling (actually, grinning from one ear to the other) because of an unidentifiable feeling of happiness as I read through it. The unconditional love you offer to your fellow editors (and, I gather, many people in real life as well), your good-natured writings, your willingness to help - all this made you a very sympathetic person on the spot though we have never interacted. I can only conclude this little statement by expressing my hope that you receive just as much love from others as you give. Your userpage alone has made my personal day brighter. Sincere thanks for that :)

I am aware of the fact that you are on an extended break, and have been for some time now, but I just hope that this little message will stay right here so that you'll get around to reading it someday. Vargher (talk) 00:42, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Thankyou

Thankyou for being a pleasure to work with during my time on WP, I really appreciate it. You've even got a mention on my userpage. ;) Lradrama 07:14, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
