Chavo Guerrero Jr. edits

[edit]

I noticed that you made some changes to the Chavo Guerrero Jr. article and they appear to not be constructive. I also noticed that you recently registered this account, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt of not knowing why those edits are not constructive

  1. You removed the tag that indicated that the article is overly detailed and should be shortened to just the important facts, not every little detail of his career. You did not reduce the level of detail, on the contrary you added to that level of detail by adding in verbiage that has been removed once before (almost identical to edits by a banned user) - The tags at the top should not be removed unless the issue has been addressed - it was not, it was made worse
  2. You removed a "copyedit needed" tag since a large part of the article is written in pretty poor English and is not appropriate for an international encylopedia without actually improving the language. The tag should not just be removed without improvements.
  3. You used a Wikia as a source - that is absolutely not allowed. That type of sources has previously been added by a user who is now banned (same one mentioned above)
  • So your comment "just adding info" is plain wrong, you removed tags intentionally, added in verbiage and sources that have been removed before and that was first added by a banned user. Hopefully that's just a coincidence and your edit history will not raise further suspicions of being User:Ianfielding. I am going to reverse your edits as they are either 1) wrong (removing tags) 2) not allowed (Wikia source) and 3) Not helpful (adding detail when it's already overly detailed). Please study the guidelines of Wikipedia before you consider making additional change.  MPJ-DK  22:33, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing

[edit]

Hi there. I understand how it is, I was new to Wikipedia once too and it takes time to learn the ropes around here. The biggest problem I am seeing is that you are putting sources to show what a move is etc., but that's not the purpose of sources on Wikipedia - We need to put documentation in the article that supports the information we add to the article. So you don't need a source to tell everyone what a Moonsault is, you need a source that states that Saez uses a Moonsault etc. I don't know of a different way of communicating on Wikipedia except through the talk page.  MPJ-DK  22:24, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Akiya Anzawa
added a link pointing to Japanese
Dan Severn
added a link pointing to Triple Crown Champion
Hirai Kawato
added a link pointing to Debut
Jason Lee (wrestler)
added a link pointing to Wrestling stable
