Thanks for uploading Image:MikeLowell.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

The file also doesn't have a copyright tag, so one must be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:02, 23 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NickContact/Contribs 02:02, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Could you please add information to your photo descriptions saying when you took them? Thanks! -- Infrogmation (talk) 04:07, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, sure...thought that info was contained in the "Metadata" for my jpg images, though??? PhreddieH3 (talk) 12:31, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're right about date and time stamp, but you should provide more detailed information about the photographs, i.e. the location, event or game. You can take a look at Help:Image page for what information needs to go on the pictures, and you might find the {{Information}} template to be useful. --Mosmof (talk) 04:28, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The photos of Wolfie's Rascal House, for instance, don't display any date info. -- Infrogmation (talk) 12:56, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

It might help you to appear as more of a serious Wikipedia editor if you have at least something on your User page so that it doesn't show up in red everywhere you edit :) DRosenbach (Talk | Contribs) 06:16, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Roadrunner.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Roadrunner.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:19, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Lonnie Brooks 61111.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 23:53, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
