Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Vance County NC seal.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Vance County NC seal.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:00, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Notability of Paul Karason
A tag has been placed on Paul Karason requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Rocksanddirt (talk) 00:27, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Windows 2.1x appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. - Josh (talk | contribs) 14:00, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Tim Duncan, you will be blocked from editing. Kuru talk 22:09, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Deletion issue Page: Dr. Bjarne Berg
Please restore the delete you did in 4 seconds after the page was added. This indicate that you did not read the page enough to understand that it was about the world's leading expert on Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. Please take care if actually reading the pages before you mechanically delete them. Please respond to my talk page or simply retore the page - bberg009
- First off, I did not delete your page, nor can I restore it -- I am not an admin. I simply nominated your page for speedy deletion as per CSD:A7. The fact that an admin DID delete it should be an indication that perhaps I was correct. I did read your page (Dr. Bjarne Berg); the fact that you simply SAY this guy is "the world's leading expert on Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing" doesn't make it true -- "Et suppositio nil ponit in esse". Also, your username ("bberg009") would seem to indicate that you are the subject of the article (about Bjarne Berg) -- and thus there is a great potential for a conflict of interest/objectivity there. Not to mention, might I add, that it's supremely arrogant of you to start a page about yourself in which you refer to yourself as "the world's leading expert on Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing". In any case, if you feel the deletion was unjustified, take it up with the admin who performed it. And if at some point in the future you decide to re-create the article, I suggest clearly establishing importance using verifiable external sources -- other than those written by yourself and/or publicity material related to you. Remember the conflict of interest. Mr. P. S. Phillips (talk) 07:20, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Stradivarius
hello. sorry i failed to give notice on the first action. both terms are appropriate in this article as both are common parlance and are most certainly 'english' words. cheers. --emerson7 22:54, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Howard Goodman
Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Howard Goodman, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 20:00, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- If you want to nominate this redirect for deletion, don't use prods. Use Redirects for Discussion instead. Before you list it, though, make sure it meets the criteria for deletion...I'm not sure it does. --UsaSatsui (talk) 08:07, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Cert. granted sub nom.
A tag has been placed on Cert. granted sub nom., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. SynergeticMaggot (talk) 06:58, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't think Cert. granted sub nom. is a valid article topic. You've just combined two separate legal terms, certiorari and sub nom, that have no more relationship to one another than any other term that may be used to summarily describe a court's action, and the pairing of them doesn't mean anything different than the sum of its parts. Sub nom may be paired with any such term. "Aff'd, sub nom"; "rev'd, sub nom"; etc. Postdlf (talk) 18:39, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks
Lmao thanks for that. Funny how you've been here for a couple of months and you're talking in an admin-toting threatening way. Chill out. Peace, dude. Pumpmeup 15:49, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Rascist Edits
I see that you've only been on Wikipedia for a short while but edits like this one you made to Hamstringing are blatantly rascist. Please chill out and stop with the racial epithets. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.58.197.14 (talk) 11:52, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- In the future, please remember to sign your comments. Moving on... Please understand that the edit I made wasn't made to further a racist agenda. It was made to help readers understand what the article was trying to get across. The article says "non-agricultural slaves"...and that term is vague and confusing, not to mention it could apply to a LOT of things seeing as how its only qualifier is 'non-agricultural'. I understand that that term was probably used specifically to avoid using any words which, when taken out of context, might be considered racially charged...but that quality of "political correctness" is exactly what makes it so beat-around-the-bush-y. The term "house nigger" is very, very widely-known (unlike the term "non-agricultural slave"), and it efficaciously and directly expresses exactly what is trying to be expressed by the more-confusing term "non-agricultural slaves". Not too that I didn't remove the term "non-agricultural slaves" from the article...I simply added the explanatory/clarifying term "house-nigger" in parentheses next to it). We have no duty to use only politically-correct terms here (so long as any non-PC terms don't express a bias, which this one certainly didn't); please remember that Wikipedia is not censored. It would be highly inappropriate, and violate WP:NOTCENSORED and WP:NPOV, if instead of using commonly-known terminology we used vague, confusing terminology simply to further a liberal social agenda of political correctness. Don't you agree? Mr. P. S. Phillips (talk) 19:58, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Your reverts
Hello, could you please explain the following reverts: [1], [2], [3]. In what way are your reverts in accordance with Wikipedia:Talk page and Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines? Thank you. --Catgut (talk) 08:17, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- My apologies, Catgut! I just installed the Lupin anti-vandal tool, and apparently read things backwards...when I thought I was reverting AWAY from a vandal's edit, I was RE-reverting back TO it. Sorry 'bout that! Mr. P. S. Phillips (talk) 08:20, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, no problem. Thanks for clarifying the situation. Good luck! --Catgut (talk) 08:45, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Kim Kardashian, is considered as a bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Sdrtirs (talk) 18:21, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Bass pedalboard
Hi Pastor David, I am concerned about what you call your "overhaul" of the bass pedalboard page. Now, I do share what appears to be your ideal of going for concision, but I argue that the cutting you did was in the "aggressive" category. Apart from missing information, some of which I believe was useful, there is no longer a flow to the prose. As well, some of your edits have what may appear to be a POV bias against non-classical bass pedalboard playing.Nazamo (talk) 21:16, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
Problems
Do you have someking of problem? --— Typ932T | C 20:50, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- It would help if you could be a bit more specific about what exactly it is you're feeling insecure about and trying to blame me for. Mr. P. S. Phillips (talk) 21:57, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

KKK
The headquarters is in Zinc, not Harrison. There is a P.O. Box in Harrison, but the physical structure is located in Zinc, a rural area 15 miles northeast of downtown. This is an important distinction to Harrison's non-KKK residents. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.178.225.214 (talk) 03:40, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- 1) Realize that it's impossible to take you seriously when (a) you use an anonymous IP address, and (b) you don't sign your edits. What are you afraid of?
- 2) The folks who work at Headquarters all say "Harrison". So does the address. It's Harrison. Maybe you wish it weren't, but et suppositio nil ponit in esse.
- 3) If you're anti-Klan, perhaps you shouldn't live in Harrison, a place which is (a) the head of the largest international Klan organization, and (b) a place so white, and so known for having banished all its black residents, that it was profiled in the movie Banished (film). Seems pretty logical to me. California might work better for you.

Re:Userpage
Umm, that would be really hard to redesign a user's userpage. It was hard to create mine. And if you mean things like this:{{User:RyRy5/Navigation2}}. Than sure. But that is how many people design there userpages.--RyRy5 Got something to say? 03:40, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, OK? A barnstar would be nice, at least. You don't have to but I would greatly appreciate it.--RyRy5 Got something to say? 04:22, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- I have no clue what a Wikignome is, but you're certainly fishing for compliments...it's like someone writing their own eulogy. Weird. Anyhow, thanks, and I left a barnstar (the first one I've ever left, so forgive me if it ain't perfect) on your page. Mr. P. S. Phillips (talk) 04:27, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
