Hi there
Hiya! First off, thanks for reaching and helping out around here. We all make mistakes, and it looks like ya made a simple goof. No worries and no harm done, if you have any questions about how to navigate this silly place, let me know, although judging by your thankless (thanks, btw) anti-vandalism edits, you seem to have a good grasp of how to help out. Welcome, and happy editing! Drewmutt (^ᴥ^) talk 06:03, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

Removal of references on Petah Tikva
Hello,
As the title states, I did explain why I removed the content - it is outdated and also irrelevant. I will take not further action on this matter.
84.108.190.120 (talk) 19:52, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, @84.108.190.120: I still believe it's a bit of a blanking situation; hence I reverted your edit. The reference was still valid however; so no reason of removing it because of "outdated irrelevant information". - pivotman319 (give me a heads up thru user talk.) 20:00, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- Kadimah party no longer exists. Also, even if it did, it would not be in any way pertinent to "Local Government", the title of said section, as it merely refers to the party conducting its own business from there, not governing the city. 84.108.190.120 (talk) 05:18, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
- @84.108.190.120: I appreciate your opinion, but unfortunately we will not be removing the reference as it is kept for historical purposes. Wikipedia does not approve of removing citations simply because an organisation (such as a trade union or business) had closed down or dissolved. - pivotman319 (📫) 09:33, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
Your revert
Howdy. I actually do have an account (and admin privileges) just too lazy to login. Regarding your revert. The text you reverted to does not make sense. It says that sawfiles do not need to reproduce to make eggs. Of course they do need to reproduce. Isn't reproduction making small ones? So the article says you don't need to make babies in order to make babies. What that article should say, is that a female does not need a male to make babies for those insects. Hence my edit was correcting that. 24.6.174.30 (talk) 19:22, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
- @24.6.174.30: Hey! I actually do apologise for oversighting that, just a bit too quick to react accordingly to grammar and I thought it was an unconstructive edit. Looks like I definitely made a goof; your edit will be restored soon enough, and I do again apologise for any inconvenience. Thanks! - pivotman319 (📫) 19:26, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
How do I properly make a topicon that works similarly to the trout topicon?
This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
So I wanted to make a proper cookie topicon that redirects users to their talk page with a cookie subst preload, similar to how the trout-a-user topicon works, but things aren't looking too bright for me as it doesn't redirect me to the user talk page when it's supposed to; it's just redirecting me to the image I've used instead. I've been trying to get this thing to work for a bit; so I need a guide on how to fix the top icon so it can work like the topicon template mentioned above.
Any help, please? It would be much appreciated in this case. Thanks! - pivotman319 (📫) 16:36, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
- I fixed it for you. Now you've to add the content you want to pre fill the edit window with here, else it will always be empty. –Ammarpad (talk) 12:58, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Ammarpad: Thank you for the topicon template help! - pivotman319 (📫) 16:22, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
Regarding the change to the gas mask article
Hi, I believe i did include an edit summary with my change. If I recall correctly, there was a line about soviet gas masks made after 1972 being safe from the risk of inhaling asbestos from the filters. However, the reference that was cited for this fact did not back this up. The cited article only spoke about ww2 masks, and explicitly stated that they did, in fact, result in asbestos inhalation in most tests done. Therefore the citation was completely irrelevant to the line. My change was to change the citation to a "citation needed", I believe. Could you check again to make sure there was no edit summary? I remember typing out this explanation pretty clearly.
