Good God, those things were about seven lines high and not templates back when I came in here. Anyway. Regarding your edit to the Rickrolling article, getting elected into a position and taking up that position aren't the same thing when there's any degree of bureaucracy involved. For instance, U.S. presidents take office in late January, so Barack Obama was a presidential candidate, is the president-elect and will be the president if all goes well. Hope that helps. --Kizor21:46, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That message was posted three years ago, when the article itself was in a terrible state (Why else do you think Wikipedia wants us to sign with four tildes? It's because some old messages may no longer be relevant.). Things have improved greatly since then. What you can do, however, is to cross-check what is written in the summaries with what you know, whenever you feel up to it. That's not a very big task, since there are other Wikipedians watching the page and most of the content that's encyclopaedic is already in there. There are a few rough edges though. For instance, the summaries for the Red, Blue & Green, Yellow and Gold, Silver & Crystal arcs are fine. Everything below that may need a fair bit of editing, especially the Emerald arc. -- AltirisHeliosExeunt04:09, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
