Thoothukudi
[edit]Hi, thanks a lot for editing Thoothukudi page. I am making some modifications on some of the changes like montage and other text. Ssriram mt (talk)
- The banner is more of Thoothukudi district(includes Tiruchendur). Also the image needs to be limited to have only a few pics. Ssriram mt (talk) 01:59, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
- Please refer Tirunelveli to have wiki type content. Try to avoid unreferenced and promotional content.Ssriram mt (talk) 03:34, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
- I have cleaned up most of the stuff. We need to expand on economy, history and education. While referring, have standard sources and try to include all parameters using cite web, cite news or cite book template. You can also look at expanding Thoothukudi district page. [edit]Hi Preethan87! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Contributions to Toothukudi
[edit]Your list of ongoing/proposed projects has been reverted by two people in recent days. I suggest that you confine yourself to discussing the issues on the talk page rather than trying to insert it again. If the outcome of that discussion favours insertion then it will happen, I promise. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 19:40, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Thoothukudi. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you.
Sorry but I have tried to explain the system here. You really do need to self-revert your latest attempt to insert the information and continue instead to discuss on the talk page. Thanks. Sitush (talk) 20:15, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
