Regarding English Wikipedia's manual of style

I came across the article Ng Cho-nam shortly after its approval via the Article fo Creation process. It seems that you, as the article creator, have chosen to set aside a portion of the English Wikipedia's Manual of Style, and I'd like to hear your reasoning behind why this guideline has been ignored. From a glance, the article Ng Cho-nam currently status does not take into account guidance on academic credentials, job titles, or euphemisms. English Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and its tone must remain consistent and encyclopedic, as such the community supports concise wording, and not the use of euphemisms, editorial, or loaded language. Compare Ng Cho-nam with Stephen Hawking, an article the English Wikipedia had designated as one of its best by giving it featured status (now revoked). Hawking's article mentions his academic degrees, but does not include "Ph.D" as a post-nominal, according to the consensus expressed at MOS:DOCTOR. It states that he was the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics, which is an academic title, so the position is capitalized. However, his previous position as reader was just an academic rank, so that position is not capitalized, and neither is Hawking's role as director of the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology. For more on the use of job titles, see MOS:JOBTITLES. I urge you to review and follow the manual of style, and fix the articles that do not conform. Hi Purplesabby! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia — it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information.
