What do I do now with regards to the UnXeptable article?[edit]

User:Deborahjay

Sorry for the question, but now what? You have made some corrections (thank you, by the way), but what is the next step on the road to having the article published and linked to the Hebrew version?

Attribution of Hebrew WP source content[edit]

Shalom, Ron! From yesterday's Edit-a-thon, it appears that you've considerably expanded the Micha Michaely page by translating content from the corresponding page on the Hebrew Wikipedia. This process involves the following follow-up actions:

Yad Labanim[edit]

Hi there! I see that you created a new article about Yad Labanim. Since it has no references, I moved it to Draft:Yad Labanim. I suggest working on it in draftspace and submitting it for review when you think it's ready to be an article. I've added a template to the top of the draft for you. Happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 04:27, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
Thank you! It shows published, but that can't be right...? I am trying to find a way to link the Hebrew version with the English one. I did the translation, added links and images. Now trying to figure out how to link....
Happy/appreciate for whatever advice/help you can give. R1237h (talk) 05:18, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I moved it to Draft:Yad Labanim, and it appears you recreated it at Yad Labanim. GoingBatty (talk) 02:47, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about that. Don't know how I did it.... I cannot find the particular newspapers that the original letter was sent to, but did find one newspaper that reported the newspaper that notified that this worked, and that the organization will be set up. This is from a website in hebrew that talks about the "Mother of Yad Labanim". They do mention that the original letter was sent to newspapers, but not which ones. Do I take that part out, or is this enough?
R1237h (talk) 05:37, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You should first gather your reliable sources, and then write the article based on those sources. (Reliable sources do not have to be in English.) Anything you wrote based on your knowledge that is unsourced should be removed. GoingBatty (talk) 05:51, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The page Yad Labanim has been expanded beyond what's on Draft:Yad Labanim, so the latter needs to be deleted to avoid having a duplicate of that content. @GoingBatty:, what would you advise, such as adding a Template:Delete on the Draft page with the reason: "Page has been created in Mainspace" or similar? -- Deborahjay (talk) 09:09, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Deborahjay: How about R1237h adds {{Db-author}} to the top of the draft and uses an edit summary of "Page was recreated and expanded in Mainspace"? GoingBatty (talk) 05:10, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Reuven Opher[edit]

Hello, R1237h,

Thank you for creating Reuven Opher.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

A good start. However, while you have described his life well you have not established notability. For this he would need a strong publication record with many citations, which he does not appear to have, and/or major recognition from international scientific organizations of his contributions. Perhaps you can trim some of the CV details, which are not so informative, and find some independent awards and other recognitions of his notability in the community. Then resubmit, at present it would be premature to have this article as it is.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Ldm1954}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Reuven Opher moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Reuven Opher. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and awards or similar recognition, please see talk page. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Ldm1954 (talk) 01:14, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Surface imperfections[edit]

I would be happy for your help in review of my draft. Thanks! Pixie.ca (talk) 06:03, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
