Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Computer security. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Meters (talk) 19:20, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
I was just updating the same website link with the updated content which was dead earlier. I appologise for my mistake. I did not know that it will count in advertising or promotion.
I will take care of this thing in future.

January 2024[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. You've repeatedly mixed in legitimate replacements of dead links with spam. The next time will be an indefinite block. DatGuyTalkContribs 10:12, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Will keep this in mind. Rajni Prashar (talk) 09:44, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

March 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm GSS. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Cyber insurance have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. GSS💬 08:01, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 08:08, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Mitchell,
I genuinely believe that the information i shared was relevant to the audience. But if it looks like spammy link, then i will not add this further without checking all things.
Kindly unblock me. I will take care of the things for the future.

Please use a new unblock request to describe what non spammy edits you would make. Thanks -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 15:38, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
