Speedy deletion nomination of User:Rajpalsinghr
[edit]A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Rajpalsinghr, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Melcous (talk) 13:44, 2 May 2018 (UTC)

. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:18, 14 May 2018 (UTC)It's pretty clear to me that you were making unsourced edits from this IP address, and once I blocked that IP for adding unsourced content in violation of WP:CRYSTAL, you logged in and made the changes from your account. 1) Stop making squirrely edits like this. Edit while logged in, not whiled logged out. 2) When your block expires, I strongly recommend you stop making edits about yourself, like the Draft:Rajpal Singh Rajput article you're trying to build. You have a clear conflict of interest, and if you keep making promotional edits, you're going to be blocked indefinitely. Wikipedia is not a social networking platform or a marketing website. We only care about notable people, i.e. ones that have received a great deal of bona fide, independent press coverage. (Not interviews, not press releases.) An actor with one credit to his name, I'm sorry to say, is not notable yet. See WP:GNG and WP:NACTOR. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:21, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Naagin (TV series), you may be blocked from editing. Noah Kastin (talk) (🖋) 05:53, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at Naagin (TV series). Noah Kastin (talk) (🖋) 07:12, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
- Rajpal, per these changes, even if we Wikipedia editors were to assume that you are the actor in question, and that you were indeed going to be working on Naagin S3, all content must be verifiable by our readers. This means (basically) that they need to be able to click a link and be taken to a reputable website that supports the claim being made. If there are no news sites that are reporting on your participation in the series, then we have to omit the content. Once the series airs and your name appears in credits, then we could include the information, provided that our editors feel your role is significant enough to include. And once again, Wikipedia is not a promotional platform. You should not be here to promote your upcoming work. Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:30, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
Teahouse talkback: you've got messages!
[edit]Please note that all old questions are archived after 2-3 days of inactivity. Message added by Nick Moyes (talk) 14:01, 24 May 2018 (UTC). (You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{teahouse talkback}} template).
- Please note that your failure to heed the advice already given you by other editors above (and now also by me at the at the Teahouse) could so easily result in you being blocked again if you persist in trying to promote your name in articles without supplying any evidence to that effect.
