Mars Orbiter Mission

[edit]

Rakesh, please stop adding links to social media sites to the article Mars Orbiter Mission. When an official link is present for an article, it is considered inappropriate to link to social media sites, as those sites are generally accessible through the official website (and in this case, they are). Thank you. Huntster (t @ c) 23:49, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Rakesh, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I'm not sure why you say that the copyright status of the MOM images are unclear. ISRO works are copyrighted (see Commons:Copyright rules by territory#India), thus MOM images will be as well unless they are specifically released into public domain or under a free license. If ISRO decide to release the images, that will be fantastic and a huge step in the free media movement, but we cannot assume anything at this point. Information icon Hello, I'm JimRenge. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Max Müller, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi Jim in this link http://www.ramakrishnavivekananda.info/vivekananda_biography/09_experiences.htm you will find the information this is a link of a genuine biography of Swami Vivekananda, just search for Max Muller in this page and you will find the description of the meeting between Swami Vivekananda and Max Muller . Thanks.

Hi Rakeshmallick, it is a nice text. However, you seem to try to verify your text with a blog. Please read WP:VERIFY, WP:BURDEN, WP:RELIABLE. Sorry, if you want to introduce the text into an encyclopedia (wp) , you definitely need a reliable source. Best regards JimRenge (talk) 00:19, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I searched and found the citation:
Nikhilananda, Swami (1953), Vivekananda: A Biography (PDF), New York: Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center, p. 106, ISBN 0-911206-25-6, retrieved 19 March 2012
if you'd like to re-add it (with ref.), please do so! Best regards JimRenge (talk) 09:32, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Tirtha Bhattcharjee requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
