Welcome[edit]

Hello Ramy.iskander and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a Help desk, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Liz Read! Talk! 05:06, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Ramy.iskander. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:09, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Liz,
TO my knowledge, I do not have any conflict of interest with any whatsoever.
This is the pure result of my research as an academic.
I will make sure that no conflict occurs.
Thank you

Hi Liz,
Did you remove the page ?
Ramy Ramy.iskander (talk) 05:20, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The contents I am publishing here have been accepted for publication in recognized IEEE conferences.
So there is no conflict. of interest.
Thank you

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on EDApedia: Advanced Analog Design Automation. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I think you may have misconstrued the point of Wikipedia. This is not a place for academic writing, and not a place you can host your own personal articles for which you get credit. It is a an encyclopaedia. It is structured on the basis of articles dedicated to discrete subjects, which are collaboratively created by the whole community. AntiDionysius (talk) 05:27, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, this is not a personal scientific article. it is a well-known general scientific problem.
In your opinion, where this article should be placed.

It seems like something that should be submitted to an academic journal. AntiDionysius (talk) 05:37, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please keep the article and I make sure to ask for review before publication so that I fully respect Wikipedia guidelines. 2A01:CB06:B850:C7A4:A075:A78D:C2DC:5332 (talk) 05:38, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
An admin will make the decision about whether it'll be deleted or not. But the problem with the article is fundamental. It's not structured to be an encyclopaedia entry. There isn't really an amount of editing that's going to fix that. AntiDionysius (talk) 05:41, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Encyclopaedia entries should describe a thing, not try to answer a question. AntiDionysius (talk) 05:41, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please advise how to make corrections. 2A01:CB06:B850:C7A4:A075:A78D:C2DC:5332 (talk) 05:46, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
My point is that there aren't "corrections" that can fix it. The problem is the whole article. It's not suitable for Wikipedia. AntiDionysius (talk) 05:47, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
is there any other place in Wiki that can accept such arcticles ? Ramy.iskander (talk) 05:49, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not to my knowledge. You need to find a journal. AntiDionysius (talk) 05:50, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, it really would be better if you stayed logged in to your account so it's clear that all your edits are being made by the same person. AntiDionysius (talk) 05:46, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I understand Ramy.iskander (talk) 05:47, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. It's not mandatory, but it is encouraged. AntiDionysius (talk) 05:49, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
