Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 08:41, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

My updates getting reverted

[edit]

I am trying to update the page Randeep Hooda. And I am providing adequate source links. But still my edits are getting reverted. I am adding simple informations like Profile photo. And some new informations regarding his works. And all the information is correct and unbiased. And provided with adequate links. The last update visible is more than 2 years old and it desperately requires new updates and he is an actor.

Please help. Regards Arpita Randeepupdates (talk) 15:05, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Randeep Hooda. Hello Randeepupdates, in what capacity are you making these edits? Based upon your choice of username, there may be a conflict of interest.

These edits are being rejected due to failure to provide a reliable source. The link you are providing appears to be a wiki hosted by Amar Ujala. User-generated publications, such as blogs, wikis, et cetera fail to meet our definition of a "reliable source". Please take the time to carefully review our content guidelines at Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me or discuss your changes on the respective talk page. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 22:33, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
