The article Angos (Constructed Language) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- non-notable
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cnilep (talk) 02:04, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
- I have started a new topic on the Angos talk page regarding the proposed deletion. Razlem (talk) 18:15, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
Nomination of Angos (constructed language) for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Angos (constructed language) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Angos (constructed language) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.
(Note, neither the proposed deletion nor the Articles for Deletion discussion were initiated by me; they were initiated by two different users, neither of whom remembered to notify you.)

Angos
[edit]I have closed Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Angos (constructed language) as delete after userfying to User:Razlem/Angos, but I want to make sure you understand that this is only a temporary solution. The guideline Wikipedia:User pages includes WP:FAKEARTICLE which says:
"Userspace is not a free web host and should not be used to indefinitely host pages that look like articles, old revisions, or deleted content, or your preferred version of disputed content. Private copies of pages that are being used solely for long-term archival purposes may be subject to deletion. Short-term hosting of potentially valid articles and other reasonable content under development or in active use is usually acceptable."
The sort of time considered acceptable is months rather than weeks, but if after six months there is no sign of this page becoming ready for the main encyclopedia, it is likely to be nominated for deletion.
The two relevant polices which you should understand are WP:Notability (see also WP:Notability (summary)), which was the main focus of the deletion debate, and also WP:No original research, which you should read in full, noting in particular the passage: "If no reliable third-party sources can be found on a topic, Wikipedia should not have an article about it. If you discover something new, Wikipedia is not the place to announce such a discovery."
