Please stop adding advertising or inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. --Hu12 (talk) 02:53, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I do not understand why my links are spam. There is no advertising on the site. I carefully reviewed the spam warning when it popped up. Can you please tell me why my links constitute spam? PS. I am new at this so if I am not adhering to the prescribed format for typing this talk please excuse. Rcara93054 (talk) 03:56, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

External links policy on Advertising and conflicts of interest states You should avoid linking to a website that you own, maintain or represent. Unfortunately your conflict of interest editing involves contributing to Wikipedia in order to promote travelus301.org is a Link normally to be avoided and fails Wikipedias specific inclusion requirements of our External Links policy, Verifiability Policy and Reliable Source guidelines. Repeatedly adding links in mass over multiple articles is considered Link spamming. Additionaly Wikipedia is Not a Link farm. Equally Wikipedia is not a place to to promote your site. Thank you for your time.--Hu12 (talk) 15:28, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
