Information icon Hello, I'm Proudyicon. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Qutb ud-Din Aibak have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Proudyicon (talk) 06:40, 8 March 2023 (UTC)

@Proudyicon: You are are walking on a razor's edge, stop reinstating unsourced content in the article and instead warn other with forged templates. In the article regarding Qutb ud-Din Aibak - the bit that Aybak tittle was Lakh Baksh and it's meaning is "forgiver of lakhs" (it's giver of lakhs) is not sourced anywhere in the body. Lead is the summary of content cited in article body - WP:CITELEAD.
Plus, regarding your uncivil edit summary - Diff, I really don't need to learn from somebody with 10 edits on how to contribute, this isn't my original account, it's created out of necessity because I forgot password of my original account i.e. Packer&Tracker from which I have been editing from last 1.5 years (4,500 odd edits)
Lastly, again revert yourself there or cite a source and discuss it on the t/p. Re Packer&Tracker (talk) 07:10, 8 March 2023 (UTC)

I don’t care who are you been, right now you are just a fresh user like me and I feel sorry bout your hard working edits wasted on here, hoping you get well soon, I don’t like vandalism and overthinking or talking just for a persian word (lakh bakhsh) is meaning a person forgive hundred thousand of people, i know hindi, urdu, persian and I don’t think to contribute a meaning is wrong! Proudyicon (talk) 17:35, 8 March 2023 (UTC)

@Proudyicon: I will be very surprised, if this turn out to be your first and only account. I am not a fresh user obviously, somebody who have been editing for over a year obviously knows how to contribute.
Coming back to the point, it's not about just one world, it's a tittle where you are misguiding readers. Please cite a source (see WP:HISTRS) - for the claim that this means "forgiver of thousands people", otherwise it's original research . We barely cares about your personal, self-claimed expertize, you need to cite reliable source for your edits.
Quite probably, you are editing while logged out through this IP range as well - Special:Contributions/103.115.14.4 - Please don't edit while logged out. Re Packer&Tracker (talk) 12:55, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
@Re Packer&Tracker, you are accusing me for logged out IP with no proof that also a quite personal attack WP:PA and putting a warning notice template on my t/p is rude and misbehaving on wikipedia, just you think it’s your own domain or personal website, and as you proclaimed a 1 year editor that also was pov editor not good! Proudyicon (talk) 13:03, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
@Re Packer&Tracker and Proudyicon: Seek a consensus on the talk page, if that doesn't work out, seek a third opinion. I do not wish to take either of you to WP:AN3 or WP:ANI because no talk page resolution was reached, and in consequence, the dispute escalates. Justarandomamerican (talk) Have a good day! 13:20, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
@Justarandomamerican: Well, I don't think I was involved in the edit war - this user inserted unsourced content firstly while logged out - diff, they were soon reverted by @Utcursch: here - diff before the same bit was restored by Proudyicon - diff, diff. Mannerism of the user isn't of newbie either, I am actually looking to take them to WP:AN3 soon myself, as they are potentially hounding me as well by reverting my edits at articles of my interset mainly at Muhammad of Ghor & Ghiyath al-Din Muhammad. Re Packer&Tracker (talk) 16:20, 10 March 2023 (UTC)

Info

It seems you had some issues with this user too... [1] पाटलिपुत्र (Pataliputra) (talk) 10:29, 9 March 2023 (UTC)

Yes @पाटलिपुत्र: - this user is indeed problematic as I came across them at Muhammad of Ghor article where they were using third-rate sources for their pov pushing for Khokhar bit. I responded to them at the talk page but they doesn't either engage in long discussions to get a consensus. I agree the ethno pov pushing like Indianized for the Turks is indeed disruptive. Re Packer&Tracker (talk) 16:25, 10 March 2023 (UTC)

Email

Sorry to hear that you lost your account. Have you ever had wiki email set up, and used it to send any email? In that case, the devs might be willing to restore the old account. TrangaBellam (talk) 07:54, 7 March 2023 (UTC)

Thank you for your concern - TrangaBellam, it's indeed regrettable that I failed to recall my password and as a result created this account with almost similar username to be easily recognized and also put this on the talk page.
- Regarding email set up, while I didn't use to mail frequently with fellow editors, but I originally had a email associated with my original account, which I removed only recently due to some personal issues.
- I did used that email once as well to reset my password once back in April 2022.
- I am ready to share a email even here or on t/p of my original account, so that a email reset mail can be sent there, will be elated to recover my original account. Re Packer&Tracker (talk) 16:17, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
Do not share your email publicly. However, you can visit Phabricator and create a ticket copy-pasting the above reply to see if the devs can help out. TrangaBellam (talk) 17:40, 19 March 2023 (UTC)

Regarding mahmud of ghazni page

I read your message and have seen that you have restored some of my edit to that page. I want to clarify that the edit that I made seemed justified to me. As there is solid and complete evidence and sources to contradict the particular "sentence" mentioned in that article. Hence it completely negates the "facts". It is therefore unnecessary. SatyaAmarRahe (talk) 07:02, 23 March 2023 (UTC)

@SatyaAmarRahe: Honestly, it doesn't matter what you or me think is justified, the fact of the matter is that the content you removed here - Diff/1146026755 is sourced to a pre-eminent scholar, though I agree that the sentence should be better framed as Thappar isn't arguing that temple wasn't desecrated - it was obviously as Al-Biruni confirmed that as well. She is arguing that it was sacked for other lucratives & not because Mahmud as chroniclers present him was a arch-iconoclast.
You are free to challenge the notion with contrasting scholarship on the topic but not with the povish reasons. Re Packer&Tracker (talk) 11:43, 23 March 2023 (UTC)

Hanshingling

I believe that between you and I, we have undone the recent disruption by the Hanshingling sock ,BonzonEllite (well-spotted!). I have also semi-protected some of the targeted articles. Note though that the edits by the original account, Hanshingling, may still need to be reviewed and fixed. Let me know and/or open an SPI if you spot any new socks, or if you believe any other related articles would need semi-protection. Cheers. Abecedare (talk) 04:03, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

Please don't forget to report that user in the SPI you mention in your edit summary here. Calling someone a sock and not reporting it, especially repeatedly, can be considered disruptive. Best to get the SPIO filed and the editor blocked. Ravensfire (talk) 17:10, 2 May 2023 (UTC)

And agree it's pretty ducky, but they've already started editing on the hi Wikipedia. The SPI here is already tagged as cross-wiki abuse meaning a request for a global lock will also be done if the sock is confirmed. Probably good to also ask for the prior account Suryabhan_Dev to be globally locked as they are more active on the hi Wikipedia. Ravensfire (talk) 17:15, 2 May 2023 (UTC)

Template creation

Why the Military conflict template for Indian campaigns of Muhammad of Ghor was removed? Ajayraj890 (talk) 08:11, 1 August 2023 (UTC)

Query

Was this you? TrangaBellam (talk) 06:25, 8 August 2023 (UTC)

It will be last thing for me to edit while logged out. Only time I did this was here to recover my password without any sucess. (link) Re Pa©ker&Tra©ker (♀) 03:15, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
No worries. Ty! TrangaBellam (talk) 19:32, 9 August 2023 (UTC)

Why did you revert extent of empire I have provided all sources @Re Packer&Tracker Thenotoriousbiggie (talk) 12:32, 28 September 2023 (UTC)

@Thenotoriousbiggie: Please take a look on the welcome message which I posted on your t/p again, there are number of issues with your edits primarily the tone which is not encyclopedic...(Tod is obviously not reliable) this bit that Chahamana kingdom reached it's maximum territorial extent under Prithviraja is dubious as most scholars attributed this to his uncle Bisaldev. Thanks. Re Pa©ker&Tra©ker (♀) 16:16, 28 September 2023 (UTC)

Fine I will edit the todd part and the max extent part but how do I make language more encyclopedic Thenotoriousbiggie (talk) 16:24, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
I don't think that the insertion of maximum extent section merits a inclusion, it's undue. Nonetheless, take a look at history section, the maximum extent of Chauhans is already covered there. Re Pa©ker&Tra©ker (♀) 16:36, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
I dont think the maximum extent is even mentioned in the history section and I think that it definitely merits an inclusion in the extent of empire part Thenotoriousbiggie (talk) 16:57, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
The maximum extent part is covered indeed in the history section as follows:-

Arnoraja's younger son Vigraharaja IV greatly expanded the Chahamana territories, and captured Delhi from the Tomaras. His kingdom included parts of the present-day Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi. It probably also included a part of Punjab (to the south-east of Sutlej river) and a portion of the northern Gangetic plain (to the west of Yamuna). His 1164 CE Delhi-Shivalik pillar inscription claims that he conquered the region between the Himalayas and the Vindhyas, and thus restored the rule of Aryans in Aryavarta. While this is an exaggeration, it is not completely baseless. The inscription was originally found in Topra village, near the Shivalik Hills (Himalayan foothills). Also, the exiled ruler of Malwa (Vindhyan region) possibly acknowledged his suzerainty. Thus Vigraharaja's influence extended from the Himalayas to the Vindhyas, at least in name

Please stop edit war and instead take this t/p and garner a consensus there.

→ I am also pinging @Utkarshraj Atmaram: for a response who wrote major part of this article alongwith पाटलिपुत्र. Re Pa©ker&Tra©ker (♀) 23:11, 28 September 2023 (UTC)

Where has it mentioned maximum extent I dont think it does and what is t/p I dont know I am new Thenotoriousbiggie (talk) 03:43, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

Islmaic rule was already in south asia before muhammad ghori and there is no historical evidence that prithviraj ran from battlefield and was executed. take it to talk page if you must @Re Packer&Tracker Thenotoriousbiggie (talk) 14:11, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

You are quite obviously looking for a indefinate block through your disruptive measures.
Islamic rule wasn't firmly established by any of the previous sultans except capturing the land west of Indus and that too during the reign of Mahmud, Muhammad of Ghor indeed laid the true foundation of Islamic rule which eventually captured much of north gangetic plain under the Delhi Sultanate.
Our article didn't mentions that Prithviraja fled Tarain, it simply mentions that he was captured after loosing in Tarain-1192 and was excuted which is simply a historic fact and is covered in article body as well with reliable sources. Re Pa©ker&Tra©ker (♀) 14:56, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

IDBI Bank ( Private/ Public)

why are you changing IDBI Bank from ""public to private""' everytime. See IDBI Bank is categorised as Public Bank because it's share has been traded on BSE( Bombay stock Exchange) and NSE (National stock Exchange). yes it is a private sector bank but since it's shares are traded on Stock Exchanges it should be categorised as """ Public "" as per companies laws. if you have any doubts then you can visit other private bank Wikipedia pages such as HDFC, ICICI, Bandhan etc. if you have any doubts let me know. Information icon Hello, I'm Fancy vibēs. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Do not revert changes until there is no results of Discussion started at Talk page of The Gurjara Pratihara dynasty page thank you. Fancy vißes (call) 05:16, 11 November 2023 (UTC)

No way my reverts were not constructive, those are third rate sources which are not acceptable for such a contentious issue, anyway it's debunked in the article body. Also, the onus is on you to get consensus with scholarly sources on talk page (not these kind of sources), not me. Re Pa©ker&Tra©ker (♀) 05:22, 11 November 2023 (UTC)

Request for clarification on reverted edit

Hello @Re Packer&Tracker I wanted to discuss about the recent edit I made on chahamanas of shakambari that you reverted. I believe my edit was valid and supported by reliable sources. I added history of King Gopendraraja who defeated sultan beg varisa a muslim general in battle in the 8th century and I also edited the lead as the lead mentions that the chahamanas faced muslim invasions from 11th century. I used History of Chahmanas by RB Singh as a reliable source to support my edit.I would appreciate your thoughts on this and any suggestions you may have. Thanks and Regards Gspgoat(talk) 12:59, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
