Disambiguation link notification for November 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited End Conscription Campaign, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Bruce. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:01, 9 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Phuzekhemisi moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Phuzekhemisi, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, and currently it only has one. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:39, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I did intend to work on it more but was not aware of the 'draft' function. That's a much better way to do it. Will look for some more solid citations when I have the time. Red Bird 1973 (talk) 11:53, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

AbM[edit]

Hi Red Bird 1973, that's great you are making edits on Abahlali baseMjondolo, I really want to improve it and bring it to GA standard but I have been a bit defeated by it lately. Your last edit has the edit summary "This section is largely about ten years out of date, and gives heavy priority to to the 2010 World Cup which is 13 years in the past" - I just wanted to say the wikipedia article doesn't need to only report the current state of AbM it should also report what it has done in the past. Also you previously worked on the lead and per MOS:LEAD, the lead needs to summarise the article and in most cases should not contain information not also present in the body - I'm going to try to summarise the body again. I'd be happy to chat further about this page, perhaps we could do that at Talk:Abahlali_baseMjondolo. Cheers and happy editing. Mujinga (talk) 00:12, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
