Image copyright problem with Image:OnTimeFerry22001.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:OnTimeFerry22001.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it.
Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peter O. (Talk) 00:20, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Damage to photo structure in Chisos Mountains
[edit]Greetings, Rfgagel! I was passing by the article on Chisos Mountains and noticed that the text contents had been disrupted sometime before or during your recent edits. Some linkage structure meta-text to a photo is now erroneously part of the clear text contents. I didn't quite follow what the recent edits were supposed to do with the current and previous photos. If you have a chance, perhaps you would want to clear this up.
Keep up the good work! Carl Gusler (talk) 22:27, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Rfgagel! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 329 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Anthony Cortese - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Henry Kronenberg - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Maria Stein and vicinity
[edit]Thanks for the help with the Maria Stein article! Do you have much of any information on St. Rose, St. Aloysius, or Nativity parishes? I've written articles on St. John's Church and the old convent near Cassella, but I've not yet had the time to write about the other three. Nyttend (talk) 02:29, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Unfortunately, although I grew up 2 miles from St Rose, I have no intimate detail about the history or workings of the parish. I know little or nothing about Carthagena. At my next high school reunion, I can ask some of the brighter members of my high school class who grew up in St Rose (Carthagena was not in our school district) whether they would like to write it. Speedy deletion nomination of File:RightForkDiner&AirportOperations.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:RightForkDiner&AirportOperations.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
