National Scholastic Surfing Association[edit]

Hello @Richaldito:! I am excited that you are updating the historical list of championship titles for this organization! I am very interested in resolving the concern about the collegiate team titles attributed to UC Santa Barbara in the 1980s. As the notes in that table explain, it would appear that there are two years in which they are credited with titles that perhaps belonged to other schools. I would greatly appreciate it if you could help sort this out Jeff in CA (talk) 19:27, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey @Jeff in CA:! I saw that and admittedly have been struggling to crawl NSSA's site for any historical documents, but a number of pages are throwing errors. I was able to grab the list of champions for Open and Explorer off of a Facebook Post they made before the 2020 National Championships last weekend. That said, I think I have some friends that can reach out to folks over there to see if they can resolve some of the ambiguity with the college records. Will also see if they're able to publish those docs to their site so they can be properly referenced here.
