Famousbirthdays.com as a source

[edit]

Hi Rjcanaday99. I'm in the process of removing famousbirthdays.com as a source from Wikipedia, because it's not reliable (See Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_153#Is_famousbirthdays.com_a_reliable_source_for_personal_information). I noticed that you've added it, and wanted to make sure you understood why it's being removed. If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 02:30, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Slim Jxmmi, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. The article was deleted as a result of that discussion. You are not permitted to re-create the article unless you can make a case that the subject is notable. Chris Troutman (talk) 22:17, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Slim Jxmmi shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. ping

[edit]

So you know, your pings to me at Talk:Rae Sremmurd aren't working because you aren't signing your comments. You have to put four tildes after your statements for the ping to work. Also, you can go through your preferences menu and have it warn you when your pings fail. Chris Troutman (talk) 23:00, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

March 2018

[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Slim Jxmmi, you may be blocked from editing. There was a discussion. The subject isn't notable. Until you can prove WP:MUSICBIO, don't bother. Chris Troutman (talk) 16:36, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
