Speedy deletion of Highland youth voice

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Highland youth voice requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. SJP (talk) 10:23, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Howdy, looks like you blanked your own page "Highland youth voice". I assume you intended to delete it, and I have placed a speedy deletion tag on the page so that will happen. Feel free to edit it again, if this was not your intent. In future, if you feel a page should be deleted check the Speedy Deletion page, which will guide you as to how to put your own tag on it. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Highland Youth Voice, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://forum.caithness.org/archive/index.php/t-48950.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. A tag has been placed on Highland Youth Voice requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I dream of horses If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page. @ 19:39, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Highland Youth Voice

[edit]

I've done exactly the same as you in the past, copied data from a web page that I edit, to the wikipedia page. It was deleted. The problem you have is that there is no license for re-use, all one can see is "Copyright ©2000 - 2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. Caithness.Org 2009" - which means you can't have a copy on Wikipedia unless you donate the copyright of the material first. I've left the page for now, but some other admin might well delete it.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 01:19, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
