Just thought I might suggest that you make a WP: sandbox to help with edits that you want to add to the main space, but may not be completely ready. You can do this by starting a new article such as : User Rocco1944/sandbox
The easiest way to make such edits might be to add some links on your own user page, so that you have them in a 'handy place' - for example, you could put this somewhere on your user page;
*[[User talk:Roco1944/test1]] *[[User talk:Roco1944/test2]] *[[User talk:Roco1944/test3]] *[[User talk:Roco1944/foo]] *[[User talk:Roco1944/baa]] *[[User talk:Roco1944/whatever]]
(of course, you can use whatever names you wish)
These would appear as red links because they don't exist, but you could then easily make the pages by clicking the link.
If you have any questions or anything you might think of please feel free to ask. Thanks ♠ B.s.n. ♥R.N.contribs 12:05, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
Why was significant information removed from this article? See this diff: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Taco_(musician)&diff=315082327&oldid=311103603 -- AnonMoos (talk) 13:20, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
License tagging for File:My-Taco2.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:My-Taco2.gif. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:06, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Taco (musician)
[edit]Please refrain from removing sourced information and inserting unsourced statements as you have done in you recent edits to Taco (musician). Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did in the following edits 1, 2, 3. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources.--Harout72 (talk) 08:10, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- The source which is supposedly his official web site here, which is also one of the sources you provided me with on my talk-page, clearly states that Taco was born in Indonesia. Besides that I have provided other sources, all of which point to the fact that he's Indonesian including this. There are no reliable sources claiming that he has begun his career in the Netherlands, all available sources including the ones I provided on Taco (musician) do mention his first recording having been released in Germany including these 1, 2. As for the Austria's positions, I have provided a source and it does indicate that "Putting on the Ritz" has peaked at No.3, not No.1. Please do no change the content as we are to go what reliable sources claim. Regards.--Harout72 (talk) 16:11, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
The positions remain the same regardless of which Hung Medien country chart is used, here is Hung Medien's Austria's page which also indicates No.3. As for the source to the interview, we don't support statements with unreliable sources such as blogs. Please read WP:Reliable sources and WP:Verifiability. If you come across a reliable source which also as the blog states Taco being Dutch, born in Indonesia, please bring it to my attention and we'll make some changes stating something like Tako born in Indonesia who is of Dutch descent has released his first recording in Germany. Regards.--Harout72 (talk) 16:37, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
- I'm afraid we can only accept reliable sources. But thanks for trying to provide more information.--Harout72 (talk) 23:25, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
We cannot use those as none of the sources you provided is reliable, they are, in fact, not even weakly reliable. Sources that could be helpful to us would be articles published by news services such as CNN, BBC, Deutsche Welle etc. or articles published by music industry related organizations such as MTV, VH1.--Harout72 (talk) 16:05, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
I see and which totally wrong source did you use, Taco being Indonesian?! I find it strange that even the copy of Taco's passport is not enough. Anyway, so far I have informed myself solely on Wikipedia. In the future I will also contact other sources, because I'm not sure anymore whether the facts are properly. Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment.
