If you'd like some help with editing or otherwise, you can sign up at the new users log, post a question at the Help Desk, or ask me on my talk page.

Please sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. It is a good idea to read the most recent entries at the bottom of the Talk page of an existing article before making major changes to it, to see if your proposed change has been discussed before. Before I make a major change to an article, I often make a proposal on the Talk page to see if anyone minds.

Again, welcome! -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:44, 8 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Thank you for the photographs. Please make the image captions more concise; you do not need to repeat information that is already given in the article. Also, please try to place the images in more-or-less chronological order in the articles -- that is, nearby text that describes the part of the person's life that is illustrated by the image. Let me know if you have any questions, and all the best! -- Ssilvers (talk) 20:40, 8 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

April 2018[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. power~enwiki (π, ν) 21:21, 8 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. Please read WP:V. It is very important that, when you add a fact to Wikipedia, you cite the source where you found that fact. In your citation, please give the name of the author of the source, the title, the name of the publisher, and the date of publication. See WP:CITE. Sources must be published, independent, reliable sources. See WP:RS for how to determine if a source is reliable. All the best, -- Ssilvers (talk) 00:23, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Belle Bilton moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Belle Bilton, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Alt text[edit]

Please do not repeat image captions as alt text. Screen readers will read out the caption and repeating it in the alt text is unnecessary at best. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility/Alternative text for images. Celia Homeford (talk) 11:37, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
