November 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, The Bridge on the River Kwai, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 22:14, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Shiromoni cites no sources[edit]

Hello S.A. Farabi, You created Battle of Shiromoni without providing any citations to sources. Verifiability is an important Wikipedia policy. You were warned about adding content without sources last November so you should already be aware of this. Please take the time to add citations supporting the content you have provided. Otherwise editors may challenge your content by removing part or all of it. Gab4gab (talk) 13:31, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Gab4gab, I apologize for replying late. I have finally provided citations to sources to my article. I got to know about this battle after watching a video on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjuMfzmglB0&lc=z23qcl1arrreebjnracdp430yimd3oukgkb1wu5gdh5w03c010c). In order to properly provide references, I had to read some books myself. Thus it took me some time to provide the citations. S.A. Farabi (talk) 23:42, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Shiromoni[edit]

Hello. You do not appear familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. In particular, Wikipedia requires citations to reliable and authoritative third-party sources. Two good sets of Wikipedia guidelines that I have found really useful can be found HERE, regarding verifiability and HERE, regarding the need to maintain a neutral point of view. According to WP:VERIFY, "Any material that needs a source but does not have one may be removed." It also says: "All content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and it is satisfied by providing an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution." Best regards, George Custer's Sabre (talk) 09:39, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Mishari bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. "জন ওয়্যান গ্যাসি" listed at Redirects for discussion[edit]

An editor has identified a potential problem with the redirect জন ওয়্যান গ্যাসি and has thus listed it for discussion. This discussion will occur at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2022 October 20#জন ওয়্যান গ্যাসি until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Speedy deletion nomination of Mohmmed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud[edit]

Hello S.A. Farabi,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Mohmmed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud for deletion, because it's a redirect that seems implausible or is an unlikely search term.

If you don't want Mohmmed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 07:43, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you have created a number of pointless redirects, none of which is as absurd as the one mentioned above by Mattdaviesfsic, but they are still unhelpful. To mention just one example, no useful purpose is served by the redirect Battle of Vienna, 1683, because anybody who searches for "Battle of Vienna" will find the article anyway, whether or not they add ", 1683" to the end of their search term. Also, there is no article about any other "Battle of Vienna", so there is no need to disambiguate by adding the date. Redirects should be created only for titles which have a reasonable chance of being used to search for an article, which "Mohmmed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud" certainly doesn't, and even then only when anyone searching for that title would fail to find the relevant article if the redirect didn't exist. Shashi Lodge moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Shashi Lodge. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Викидим (talk) 17:19, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Of the two links, one does not contain the information claimed (about the museum), another leads to no information at all. There is no source for a detailed description that is in the article. Викидим (talk) 17:24, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
