[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Yamaha RX 115, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I wonder what are the sources of other similar informations e.g. Yamaha RX100 top speed. I know the speed of RX115 because I have checked it many times against GPS unit. User:S zillayali (talk) 10:01, 11 July 2012 (UTC).
- The trouble with checking it on your GPS unit is verifiability (WP:V which is at the heart of Wikipedia, where verifiability trumps the truth every time. Using your own figures, even though they may be the absolute truth, is considered to be original research (WP:OR), which is not allowed on Wikipedia. Some editors find that incredibly hard to grasp or deal with, but unfortunately it is the way it is. If you can find a reliable source such as a book or major magazine review / road test then that would be considered a reliable source. A blog, owners club, or forum post on the other hand would not be considered reliable. Any questions I'm only too happy to help. --Biker Biker (talk) 14:52, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
