Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Polar badger, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. {{hangon}}

I have recentley been researching the polar badger in its natural enviroment and i am trying to raise awarness in britian as it is currently inrisk of becoming extinct. please do not delete

Hi, Scott983. I noticed that you put the {{hangon}} tag here on your own user talk page. The tag is supposed to go on the article page that you want to stop from being deleted. Because your tag was in the wrong place, the deletion proceeded and the "Polar badger" article is gone now. Since I never saw the content of the page, I can't say if it was a worthy article or not, but I wanted to let you know about your mistake with the tag.
Anyhow, in order to prevent your user talk page from showing up in the list of pages proposed for deletion, I've put "nowiki" tags around the {{hangon}} template above. --RL0919 (talk) 20:02, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Fictional badger requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
