A tag has been placed on User:ScreenJunkiesMovieFightsandTVFights/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. - HyperGaruda (talk) 11:19, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Misuse of Wikipedia as a webhost

[edit]

stop You cannot continue to use Wikipedia as a webhost for unrelated material. It has been explained to you repeatedly that it is contrary Wikipedia policy to do so, and repeatedly restoring the deleted content is disruptive.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:46, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Because I'm an adult with critical thinking skills and an administrator who has reviewed questionable content for years.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:50, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Also, could you explain your connection, if any, to the Andrewjshick (talk · contribs) account?--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:57, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • And I'm a soon-to-be doctor who can tell you you're wrong. PS I'm never donating another penny to wikipedia as I'm being treated terribly
Well if you believed that by donating to Wikipedia you were somehow allowed to use it as your personal webhost I can understand that you may feel jaded. None of this changes the facts however, and that is that the vast amount of content you were hosting here is unrelated to Wikipedia.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:57, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Where is a link to the free wiki software? I can't find it since I can't find the link I was shown before in the deletion tag since the page is gone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewjshick (talkcontribs) 00:04, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the link you are looking for is at the bottom of WP:NOTWEBHOST, along with a list of alternative outlets (i.e. here and here). Note that if you are the same user as User:ScreenJunkiesMovieFightsandTVFights you need to be aware of the policy regarding multiple accounts.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 00:19, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

We are different people. But don't worry, I will be committing "suicide" shortly (right after I figure out what I'm doing with these links; I wanna make sure that what I do won't lead me to the same problems) (ScreenJunkiesMovieFightsandTVFights (talk) 00:22, 12 December 2015 (UTC))[reply]

I give up. This is way too confusing. Nowhere where I can just post this stuff (not sure why not on a sandbox since several admins told me that was perfectly fine, but I will self-terminate now since it'll make you happy) (ScreenJunkiesMovieFightsandTVFights (talk) 00:34, 12 December 2015 (UTC))[reply]

I found this on the criteria for speedy deletion page. The sandbox was never given a fair trial. "G2. Test pages Shortcut: WP:G2 This applies to pages created to test editing or other Wikipedia functions. It applies to subpages of the Wikipedia Sandbox created as tests, but does not apply to the Sandbox itself: it does not apply to pages in the user namespace, nor does it apply to valid but unused or duplicate templates (although criterion T3 may apply)." (Andrewjshick (talk) 00:42, 12 December 2015 (UTC))[reply]

WP:U5 is the one you're looking for, and the one that your sandbox was deleted under. --| Uncle Milty | talk | 01:30, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I see. OK then, final question: Why would a bunch of admins tell us it was okay to put whatever in a sandbox? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewjshick (talkcontribs) 01:45, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing, because this account has been used only for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to Wikipedia's content policy. Also, your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is against Wikipedia's policy: an account is for an individual, not a group. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a free advertising service.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of this page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:44, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I honestly don't care if this account isn't un-blocked. I want it deleted if I'm not free to have a sandbox and am only going to be harrassed and feel unwelcome. Regarding andrewjshick, I live with him, but we're different people, but it doesn't matter since there is no need for this account to exist. I would appreciate ideas regarding where in the Wikimedia universe this stuff can be posted

Decline reason:

Accounts can not be deleted - it simply is not possible. Courtesy vanishing is only permissible for accounts in good standing - which yours is not. - The Bushranger One ping only 02:16, 13 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
