A tag has been placed on Lavinia Goodell requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article.   • I've cleaned up the Lavinia Goodell article and removed the deletion tag. In future, please don't post articles with no content -- write the content first, then post. Also, please note that Wikipedia is case sensitive -- "Female Lawyers" is not the same as "Female lawyers". The category does not capitalize the L, so please don't. Capitalizations[edit]

Please categorize correctly[edit]

    • I've asked you twice now to stop adding Category:Female Lawyers (with a capital L) and to use Category:Female lawyers (with a lower case l). Your work[edit]

An article should never be left with a non-existent (redlinked) category on it. Either the category should be created (most easily by clicking on the red link), or else the link should be removed or changed to a category that does exist. Dawnseeker2000 03:25, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

June 2012 - categories again[edit]

Stop adding non-existent categories to articles. I see from above that this has been a problem for you for years now. The category names you are choosing (such as this one) in addition to being redlinked, are also miscapitalized and are some kind of hyphenated composite name that is contrary to prevailing standards. I have reverted all of these changes.

If you have categories you would like to propose be created and populated, please add a comment at Wikipedia talk:Categorization or Wikipedia talk:WikiProject U.S. Supreme Court cases to discuss it. Categorizing pages[edit]

Regarding your recent spate of adding categories to pages, please see Wikipedia:Categorization#Categorizing pages, specifically where it reads, "each categorized page should be placed in all of the most specific categories to which it logically belongs. This means that if a page belongs to a subcategory of C (or a subcategory of a subcategory of C, and so on) then it is not normally placed directly into C." -- Pemilligan (talk) 03:20, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
