- There has been no response to the comment over two weeks ago; action is needed before the end of the month. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:15, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
- I have corrected the image placement again on the above article as per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Images#Horizontal placement. It says "avoid sandwiching text between two images that face each other, or between an image and infobox, navigation template, or similar." This situation comes into the "or similar" category of that sentence, since the multiple image was sandwiching the text between the very large image on the right, and the left hand side of the screen. Remember that although users with cinema-screen-shaped screens do not observe squashing of text, the majority of international users are still using the old type of PC screen/monitor which is almost square, so most users will see extreme squashing of text in this case. Please do not revert my edit without first discussing it on the article talk page and receiving a consensus. Thank you.--Storye book (talk) 08:09, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
DYK for June 4th Museum
[edit]On 7 June 2014, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article June 4th Museum, which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the June 4th Museum (temporary location pictured) is the permanent exhibition museum for the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/June 4th Museum. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |
