A tag has been placed on Morison Menon, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. TeapotgeorgeTalk 11:49, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

December 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Incorporation (business) do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. TeapotgeorgeTalk 11:57, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Company formation. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:25, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Morison Menon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. HalfShadow 04:55, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Morison Menon. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. —C.Fred (talk) 05:12, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Also, based on how you've been signing messages at my talk page, it appears you have a conflict of interest with the company. While this does not forbid you from editing articles about the company, it does require that you back up all claims in the article with independent reliable sources. Currently, the article cites no sources. —C.Fred (talk) 05:21, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:02, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning[edit]

This is your last warning; the next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did at Morison Menon, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.

You may discuss the matter on the talk page, and you may tag the page with {{hangon}} to indicate your objection to the deletion, but you may not remove the speedy deletion tag from a page you created. —C.Fred (talk) 05:17, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest and promotional editing[edit]

I see that in connection with Morison Menon you have written "We need to have our company information in Wikipedia because we have clientele ranging from individual investors to large multinational conglomerates in UAE." However, this is not an acceptable reason for having an article. Wikipedia is not a free web host, and does not have articles on particular subjects because people or companies with a commercial or other interest in those subjects want them. Wikipedia does not exist to help you communicate with your clients. Attempting to use Wikipedia for promotion of your businesses interests is regarded as promotional use, which is against Wikipedia's policy. In addition, since you are working for the company you clearly have a conflict of interest, and should not be editing on this subject. You are welcome, of course, to contribute to Wikipedia in other areas, but if your company is notable by Wikipedia's standards then no doubt sooner or later some independent, objective, outsider will write an article on it. Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations has more on these matters. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:28, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
