Certainly, I have no problem with rewriting it, but I am going to be away until Thursday. Could you bug me on my talkpage again during that time, so that I notice and don't forget? Thanks. --Xyrael T 12:47, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I sure will, thanks alot Xyrael. Sir Vicious 07:39, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm actually going to rewrite it now - sorry for the huge delay :( —Xyrael / 17:01, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much, Xyrael :) . If you have or need any info's feel free to leave me a message, there may be a day or two delay but I'll help you where I can :). Sir Vicious 03:02, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No problem - but please don't reply on my archives because I might not notice. Just copy the discussion back to my main talkpage and reply there - thanks. Most users will hold this policy I think. —Xyrael / 08:14, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

vandal warning

[edit]

hi - I saw your warning on an IP address page about Bill Clinton vandalism -where did you get that particular template? I usually use the standard set, and I see they've been updated, but unless I'm looking at it and just not seeing it, I don't see any with wording directed to an IP vandal. Any help appreciated! thanks Tvoz | talk 22:45, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I'm not sure that the user removing warnings from their talk page is vandalism. See Wikipedia:Centralized discussion/Removing warnings. As much as I think warnings should be kept for at least a little while, the community did not come to a consensus on the issue, and no action can be taken for removing warnings. Wodup 07:10, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Affirmative, I guess that's ok. I will stop reverting his blankings, since it is all in the history for everybody to see. Thank you for informing me, I did not know about that link =). Sir Vicious 07:15, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Zone Defense

[edit]

There has been a significant amount of vandalism on the Zone defense page, including some blanking. I'm an inexperienced user and unfamiliar with the proper procedures for these situations. I'll try to learn about what to do, but in the meantime, since I noticed that you have done some vandalism clean-up on that page in the past, I was wondering if you'd mind taking a look. It appears that the last serious revision was about a month ago. Thanks! Crosswalkcs 16:28, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Vietnam

[edit]

Sorry. I guess I'm a little trigger-happy in the rev vandalism department. I'll try to be less so. —Ignatzmicetalkcontribs 15:02, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Revision on Dynasty(sports)

[edit]

I did not attempt to insert a POV into the post. I believe that user Brusegadi is in mistake in attempting to characterize the post as a POV since he has not tracked the page since June, as I have. Please note that the edit I performed was an attempt to remove vandalism in this post: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Dynasty_%28sports%29&oldid=152555715 . That post delete a portion of the sentence and I only attempted to revert the entire sentence. When reformed, the sentence, I believe, provides a NPOV as agreeable by wikipedia standards. It provides links to a large number of articles that consider the team in question a dynasty in addition to articles that would not consider the team a dynasty. Unfortunately, the status of the team is not resolved, but the community had reached an agreement, as observed by the discussion page, to include this team in both the NBA and Dynasties in Question sections: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Dynasty_%28sports%29#You_have_to_win_consecutive_championships_to_be_a_dynasty.21 . The reason for this inclusion is for the simple matter that a 'dynasty' is not defined to an appropriate manner. Hence, the links supporting and non-supporting the view. In fact, the entire article is rife with speculation and at least this team has articles sourcing the term 'dynasty'. I do not see that for any other team other than University of Kentucky cheerleading. In addition, several users had reverted the changes before, when the vandalism occured by removing this team from the page. I see that a few users have even placed a marker declaring that removal of the team should only happen per discussion on the talk page in agreement with other wikipedia citizens. As a new user, I can't claim any credibility or authority on this site. I am only hoping that you see the history of the page and the relevant discussion page and notice that Brusegadi made a shotgun decision based on another page's edit (where I was mistaken in including a link that I thought was appropriate as a reference). As a user on a large, shared IP network, I have no other method of contacting you than this talk page.

I am only saying that I did not attempt to add in my own thoughts, but complete the part of the sentence that was removed due to vandalism by a previous user. When read in entirety, that sentence makes sense. That sentence existed since at least July. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.189.245.118 (talk) 04:56, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I saw a post listed on my talk page about vandalism, but I guess it is a script or something because it is dated November, 2006. I'll try to contact another admin —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.189.245.118 (talk) 05:07, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
