- I've responded to your comments over at WP:RFF regarding your article. Cleanup is a very generic tag so it could mean a lot of things depending on who placed it. Also you may want to copy and paste that whole article into your sandbox at Special:MyPage/Sandbox to work on it there. If you need some specific information about why the cleanup tag got placed there you could ask User talk:Dmwiki who applied the tag, but take a look at the suggestions I've left at the feedback page and see if those help. -Optigan13 (talk) 06:44, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Sandboxes go under your userspace
[edit]Hello, remember when that you are creating a sandbox to put it under your userspace. I moved SlackR2/Sandbox to User:SlackR2/Sandbox. Thanks! Cunard (talk) 04:06, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
- Also I would just delete the copy that I've collapsed above and work on the main article. Don't worry on wikipedia you can hit the undo button like crazy, and since it is already out there it would be easier to work on just one copy of the article. -Optigan13 (talk) 05:15, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Diane Rodriguez article
[edit]{{helpme}}
I assume since I have no more notes on the article page the article is fine?
How long does it take before it appears in say the google search engine? That is if someone is googling Diane Rodriguez, when would the wikipedia page appear. Or is there something I must program? Also, the page has been included in the California portal and has been give a low importance rating. This is unfair to the subject as she is significant in Chicano history and theatre. HOw does one remove a subject from a portal? Or is that not possible?
(SlackR2 (talk) 03:30, 18 September 2008 (UTC))
- It could mean that the problems have been fixed, or it may mean that nobody else has read over the article to make sure that it's better. The article should appear in Google soon. You don't have do do anything. An importance rating doesn't mean that the person is not important. According to this section, "The criteria used for rating article importance are not meant to be an absolute or canonical view of how significant the topic is. Rather, they attempt to gauge the probability of the average reader of Wikipedia needing to look up the topic (and thus the immediate need to have a suitably well-written article on it)." I hope I have been some help! --Skunkboy74 (talk) 03:46, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
My article is still not appearing in google search engine
[edit]I contributed my article Diane Rodriguez a little over two weeks ago and it still does not appear when the name is googled. I understand that I don't have to do anything to have it appear. Correct? Is there something I have to delete before it appears? Any tasks I need to perform? Please let me know. I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Thanks. - When I search "Diane Rodriguez" on Google, the article is the second result. Try again and see if it works now. --Skunkboy74 (talk) 05:25, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
