Banyumasan language[edit]

I shall write in Indonesian and give a summary in English:

Yth pengguna Slamet Serayu, saya ingin memperkenalkan diri saya. Saya adalah seorang peneliti sastra dan bahasa Jawa Kuna. Sebagai seorang peneliti saya berusaha keras untuk menjunjung tinggi asas obyektivitas ilmiah. Jadi saya tidaklah anti Banyumas atau apapun. Yang ingin saya capai ialah keakuratan data supaya bisa digunakan oleh khalayak ramai. Memang mungkin benar logat Banyumas dan logat Jawa Barat lainnya sering ditertawakan oleh para penutur Jawa Tengahan atau Jawa Timuran lainnya, namun inilah hanya attitude masyarakat yang kurang bertanggung jawab saja. Seperti misalkan orang Indonesia sering menertawakan orang Malaysia jika berbicara. Nah kembali ke bahasa Banyumas lagi, memang benar banyak perbedaan dengan bahasa Jawa baku, namun bahasa Banyumas masih tetap merupakan bagian dari bahasa Jawa. Banyak varian-varian bahasa Jawa yang berbeda dengan bahasa baku gaya 'Mataraman' atau lebih luas lagi Joglosemar (Jogja Solo Semarang). Namun secara garis besar perbedaan ini tidaklah membuat varian-varian ini menjadi bahasa yang lain. Nah tentu saya ingin membantu anda dalam mencapai tujuan anda untuk memperkenalkan budaya Banyumasan kepada khalayak ramai, namun tentu usaha ini akan lebih baik mencapai tujuan jika didasari oleh data-data ilmiah yang kuat. Begitulah maksud saya, maafkan jika ada kata-kata yang salah.

BTW anda berasal dari Pontianak atau daerah lain di Kalbar? Sekian dan salam.

Terima kasih sekali, saya sangat berterima kasih. Bung, saya juga amat yakin, secara batiniah anda berkeinginan demikian, hanya saja lahiriah komentar yang tampil dapat diartikan seolah-olah menolak habis keinginan saya. Saya juga amat yakin hal ini disebabkan kesalahan saya yang tidak didasari pengetahuan yang cukup. Selanjutnya, saya mohon bung Meursault dapat mengedit langsung sehingga semua menjadi benar dan saya tidak pernah dan tidak akan pernah melakukan re-edit yang bersifat prinsipil/ilmiah. Saya juga tidak pernah menyangkal bahwa bahasa mBanyumasan adalah bagian dari bahasa Jawa, karena memang demikianlah adanya. Saya menulis "bahasa Banyumasan" bukan "bahasa Jawa dialek Banyumasan" karena khawatir bila hanya sebuah dialek maka Wikipedia tidak akan meloloskan keinginan saya. Itulah sebabnya saya berusaha menyampaikan dalih sekenanya semampu saya sehingga terkesan tidak berdasar. Semoga sudah jelas sekarang, selanjutnya sekali lagi saya mohon bung Meursault memperbaiki langsung sehingga upaya ini memiliki dasar ilmiah tetapi tolong jangan sampai upaya ini ditolak Wikipedia. Saya ingin anda berkenan untuk terus melakukan supervisi upaya ini dan perlu saya sampaikan : saya sudah meminta logo, upaya ini sudah ditampilkan di halaman depan kelompok Other Languages --> List of language names ordered by code, tetapi sepertinya masih dalam tahap test. Saya sudah tahu latar belakang pendidikan anda dan jujur saya bangga. Saya bukan dari Pontianak, saya lahir di Sintang, besar di sebuah desa di pedalaman Kab. Sambas, Isteri dari Purwokerto (Kab. Mauro Purnomo Rahardjo[edit]

Hi Slamet Serayu,

I know that you didn't write the Mauro Purnomo Rahardjo page, but it is linked from the Banyumas article where you have made many edits. I have tagged Mauro Purnomo Rahardjo for speedy deletion, because it is against Wikipedia policy to have articles in the English Wikipedia in a foreign language (and two of us at the requests for translation page didn't think it was acceptable to translate word-for-word something that was copied and pasted from a news source). If you do not want to see this page deleted, could you please write a Wikipedia:stub in English, and move the newspaper article to the Talk:Mauro Purnomo Rahardjo page?

If you don't have time to do this now, you or someone else can always recreate the page about this person later, and it should be retained as long as it is written in English and follows Wikipedia policies about copyright and neutral point of view.

Image Tagging Image:Java.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Java.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by going to "Your contributions" from your user page and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
