Given your statement below regarding working on articles relating to the New York Veterinary Foundation, I must decline; Dawn Amato is is founder of Slightly Mad Communications, among whose clients are the New York Veterinary Foundation. Wikipedia is not a marketing platform. --jpgordon::==( o ) 21:40, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory. I understand conflict of interest. I understand that to be considered for an encyclopedia article, the subject must be considered to be notable. Should I become unblocked I intend to work on articles related to the New York Veterinary Foundation. Slightly Mad Communications 17:00, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Requested move

[edit]
The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: speedy close. Firstly this request is on the wrong page, it should have been on the talk page of the article in question, not your talk page. Secondly, and more importantly, according to the instructions Wikipedia:Requested moves#Processes beyond the scope of this page a requested move is not the appropriate way to move a page from user space. Instead {{subst:AFC submission/submit}} should be added to the top of the article. I have now done this for you. Dpmuk (talk) 12:58, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Username blocked

[edit]
This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Smcommunications, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WikiProject Japan! 16:40, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm disabling this for the time being. If you could answer the questions below in your own time and then re-add {{unblock}}, we will be better able to review your request. Thanks, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:50, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. By the way, "smad" still clearly refers to "slightly mad". Please explain what types of articles you intend to work on should you become unblocked. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:07, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13. Thank you for your attention. Your article submission Dominic J. Marino, DVM

[edit]

Hello Smcommunications. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Dominic J. Marino, DVM.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Dominic J. Marino, DVM}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 15:20, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
