Problems with upload of File:Barnes Peacock.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Barnes Peacock.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Could you clarify why you're claiming to be the copyright holder of this file? The copyright holder of a photo is generally the person who takes it, and only the copyright holder can release their work under the Creative Commons license you chose. Did you find this photo somewhere online and just guessed it would be OK to try to release it under such a license? -- Marchjuly (talk) 10:18, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You provided a source for File:Sir Barnes Peacock.jpg, but you also removed it's copyright license. Files without copyright licenses are also eligible for speedy deletion per WP:F4.
