You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at [[Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/{{{1}}}]]. Thank you. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Editors are expected to treat each other with respect and civility. On this encyclopedia project, editors assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not appear to do at Talk:List of books bound in human skin. Here is Wikipedia's welcome page, and it is hoped that you will assume the good faith of other editors and continue to help us improve Wikipedia! Thank you very much! Doug Weller talk 14:29, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Doug Weller I appreciate your message. Going forward I'll make an effort to follow guidelines which I was not aware of. However, it is not bad faith to point out where someone's actions or assertions may have harmful impact, especially when it comes to research and ensuring articles are as accurate and clear as possible. No one was attacking their character, or claiming that they intentionally engaged in such behavior, simply that it constituted possible harm in terms of the impact of the article. How should we go about preventing such things if we aren't able to point it out when it happens? Genuine question. Solshineonline (talk) 14:36, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Doug Weller I would like to add that this is the reason I provided a resource to the individual regarding what they were accused of doing. It was meant to be educational in order to prevent such things going forward, which is for the benefit of Wikipedia and all who use it. We'd like to avoid unintentional bias when it comes to such sensitive topics. Solshineonline (talk) 14:39, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I'm not a sockpuppet. I'm unsure if I violated meatpuppetry rules, but to clarify what I did, I saw a Facebook post in a group I'm in asking if anyone could post about misinformation they saw because their device wouldn't let them properly see the page, and they weren't sure if their own posts were going through. My intention was only to improve the article and help out someone with outdated tech, and I intend to keep improving articles with updated sources and clarifications. Solshineonline (talk) 15:37, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Yes, that is meatpuppetry. 331dot (talk) 15:47, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
