I reverted some edits you made to D.B. Cooper. Please read the following Wikipedia policies on reliable sources, verifiability and conflicts of interest to understand why. Under Wikipedia policies, all statements in articles have to be sourced to independent, fact-checked media, such as newspaper or magazine articles, books, etc. We can't make statements in articles based on people's personal recollections or research, as we have no way of checking these. Also, editing articles about an ex-spouse is disfavored. The better way to proceed is to post your concerns about the section on the article Talk page so other editors can make corrections. If you have any questions as you proceed, please feel free to post them here or on my Talk page, and I will do my best to help. Jonathanwallace (talk) 13:29, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Let me second that: I fully understand that you were editing in good faith, but as Jonathanwallace said, WP has rules, and we have to follow them. Please outline your concerns on the D.B. Cooper talk page, and we will be happy to incorporate them into the article, as long as we can verify them independently. If you know of any published sources that would aid us in that verification, please list those as well. Cheers, DoctorJoeE (talk) 14:19, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
