- Try the Tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk
- Follow the Wikipedia:Simplified Ruleset
- Eventually, you might want to read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.

Good luck!

Thanks for adding all that information about individual FCV projects going on at the Auto companies. I've been working on a paper that analyzes individual FCV designs and there were some projects you mentioned that I wasn't aware of. There were one or two projects that I didn't see when I saw your edit, but I'll add it in later if it's still not there. When I'm done with my paper at the end of the semester, I'm going add detailed information about each prototype being developed into the article. Solarusdude 15:00, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on UTC Power Corporation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Pan Dan 12:34, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
- P.S. If you got this material from the company's website, that's probably why it reads like a promotion for the company. Best way to write articles is to look for sources that are independent of the subject that you're writing about. Newspaper articles, for example, are usually good to use (as long as they're not reprints of press releases). Pan Dan 12:36, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
- P.P.S. If you affiliated with this company (User_talk:192.249.47.9 removed the speedy tag), then you should not write about this company at all on Wikipedia. Please see Avoiding conflict of interest. Pan Dan 12:39, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:UTC-Power.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:UTC-Power.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:00, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
