Civil edit summaries

Uncivil edit summaries, such as this, are not helpful. When reverting vandalism, consider placing "reverting vandalism", or something similar. Users vandalize for attention, so in addition to sounding rude, it only serves to encourage most of them. Thanks for your consideration. Leebo T/C 20:13, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Some part of me knew I was going to get into trouble for that...
Anyways, sorry about that. Just trying to keep things nice n such. Won't hap'n again, guv'. --SteelersFan UK06 20:17, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
Not a big problem. It's clear that you've got a passion for keeping the articles free of vandalism, just try not to let strong emotions erupt into profanity :) Leebo T/C 20:18, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
haha, nice one there Muzza Cabe6403 15:53, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

By the way

Your userpage is really hard to read unless you are in a 1280*1024 resolution >_< If it was 3 userboxes in a row it'd be fine =) Also I put my resolution to 600*480 to look at it and phoar... O_O Cabe6403 15:53, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Soz, its the laptop, its marvellous and runs in a higher resolution. If you will direct your eyes to this comment...Thanks....
P.S. Check out the new shizzle on the Userpage. Tis marvellous also!

Re:Its Me again sorry

Replied here. Coolmark18 17:12, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Re:Userpage Edit (...Again)

Meh. You are forgiven, but just this once. You do know though that if your page ever has a typo, im going to be on it like a bitch. =p. I'll forgive your plug. What I love about you is the way you manage to link to articles through random conversation. Dork! And, btw, I changed the caption. Coolmark18 19:54, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Talk:Total Nonstop Action Wrestling

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. Please refrain from doing this in the future. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. TJ Spyke 02:33, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, TJ Spike, but I'm pretty clear on the rules. I just wanted to state a fact I thought should be integrated into the article. Thanks again, SteelersFan UK06 02:36, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Greetings

How was your holiday? Did you have fun? I didnt even realise you went anywhere, was it to Paris? I totally cant remember. Anyway, talk to you later.Coolmark18 22:54, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

The Dykeenies

Still fails WP:MUSIC. I'm nomming it for AfD by the end of the day if it's not compliant by then. Oh, and by the way, be civil next time in your edit summaries. Rockstar (T/C) 15:41, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Hot Fuzz spoiler warning

RE: your comment about my comment about spoiler warnings - no worries, glad I could help. I got tripped up a few times when they changed the rules, so I like to point it out to people to let them know in case they don't. :-) --Joseph Q Publique 10:25, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

I noticed that when you placed a speedy deletion tag on Edge and Rey Mysterio, you removed the PROD tag. For your information, there is no reason the same page can't have both. A user who removes a speedy tag isn't contesting the deletion; an article can be speedy-deleted even if it has a PROD tag. Please don't remove PROD tags when placing speey tags. Od Mishehu 07:31, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Cheers for the heads up, but this matter got dealt with days ago. There was no need to comment me. Also, it doesn't really matter which tag gets placed on the article, it's gonna get deleted either way, down the same route as Shawn Michaels and John Cena. --SteelersFan UK06 00:38, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:The Dykeenies - Clean Up Your Eyes.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:The Dykeenies - Clean Up Your Eyes.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:10, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

but i gave it a license, didn't I? Oh what's the point, you're a robot....--SteelersFan UK06 03:12, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Archive Pages

I basically just followed this page here. Not very exciting, I know, but thats all I did. Coolmark18 07:07, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

speedies

Speedy cannot be used for non notable articles unless they are for a person, group, company, or web site which makes no claim of importance. For unimportant schools, use "prod" or AfD. I changed the tag on Mearns Castle HS & Mearns primary school to prod. DGG 23:01, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

If nobody take an interest in a school article, it's just as easy to get rid of them as with speedy--see WP:PROD. If nobody rescues them, they are deleted in 5 days. Whenever you do a prod (or a speedy) be sure to notify the author so they have a chance to improve the article. Sometimes the author chooses to just remove the prod without actually improving the article. Then the only course is to use WP:AFD, a relatively elaborate process allowing for debate. To see the sort of criteria used for schools, hang around AFD & watch the discussion. That's the way people learn. DGG 23:14, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
