Sophie Scholl

Hello StewSchmidt,

You have made a range of changes to Sophie Scholl, one of our high-importance articles. In doing so you have introduced several errors in the article's citation of sources. The most glaring ones I have tried to fix, but it still does not look good, the page has f.ex. two blocks of sources, both numbered from 1. Lklundin - The changes I made were to make all of the cites visible. Prior to my edits, if you went to Sophie Scholl's page, you could not see any references. I went into the html text, found the references, and made them visible. Unfortunately, the references already had mistakes in them in regards to numbering before I did anything. I was hoping once I made the references and citation of sources visible, someone else would take the time to find the mistakes made by whoever originally inserted the references and citation of sources. I have repeatedly gone back into the page to try to figure out the mistakes made by whoever originally inserted the references and citation of sources, but I cannot figure out how to correct their mistakes. All I know how to do is to make the references and citation of sources visible. ~ StewSchmidt

Biographies of living people

Hi. I saw you added a birth date to Adam Driver in this edit. The problem is that biographical details such as these must be properly cited to reliable sources. The IMDb, which you alluded to in your edit, is user-generated and thus unusable on Wikipedia. Many other websites that purport to reveal information about celebrities are similarly considered unreliable. In a biography of a living person, we go with the best available source, not a poor source that has more information. This is to protect the subjects of our biographies from having false information spread about them.
