Thank you for your contributions

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to New Zealand politics articles. It's much appreciated. Could you please give Help:Minor edit a read? In essence, if you add any content whatsoever, it's not a minor edit. Not a big deal; just so you know. Schwede66 09:23, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

May 2021

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information. User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 18:25, 23 May 2021 (UTC) Consider this a warning about unsourced information, rather than a final warning about incorrect information. There are rumors that Pratasevich's girlfriend was also detained, but nothing definitive. User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 18:57, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The information is correct. Source for 171 passengers[1], source for 2 missing[2] Tāwhiwhi (talk) 18:32, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OK, but you need to include the sources if you're contradicting the rest of the article. I don't think people are calling it a "hijacking". Also a Tweet isn't a great source, and that says 6 people are "missing". User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 18:33, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Apart from "2 missing" (which I encourage you not to restore without better sourcing), everything you added appears to have been restored. I've started a talk page discussion about "Hijacking" in the infobox, the rest of your edit looks fine. User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 18:40, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

WP:V

[edit]

Hi, can I ask you about this removal?[1] Why would a thetimes.co.uk source violate Wikipedia:Verifiability? Thank you.--Mhorg (talk) 18:06, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The claim is not verified, this claim about Pratasievič's activity only popped up after 2020. No primary sources of Pratasievič engaging in such activities exist, and all claims stem from a livejournal post in 2020. In addition, the unit it was claimed he belonged to does not exist. These claims are WP:EXCEPTIONAL, and are thus inadmissible without multiple high-quality sources under the BLP policies. Tāwhiwhi (talk) 18:14, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The fact that his contacts with Azov went out in 2020 means nothing. There is an important source talking about these contacts, and a Ukrainian liberal (pro-Western). There is no reason to remove this information.--Mhorg (talk) 20:50, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Makariv moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Battle of Makariv, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
