Unspecified source for Image:GwWYHPKids copy.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:GwWYHPKids copy.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Bkell (talk) 22:01, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

May 2007[edit]

Your recent edit to veganism in which you removed the category tags and numerous external links was unwarranted, and I believe it constitutes vandalism, as this appears to have been done to undermined the quality and usefulness of the article. Please discuss drastic changes on the article's talk page beforehand. Doctormatt 19:38, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your misguided, poor quality edits to veganism. You are pushing your POV on the article, and you are doing it badly. Please stop. Doctormatt 00:33, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Veganism, you will be blocked from editing. Gaff ταλκ 00:43, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Image:GwWYHPKids copy.jpg[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:GwWYHPKids copy.jpg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

nonsense

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on [[Talk:Image:GwWYHPKids copy.jpg|the article's talk page]] explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Gaff ταλκ 00:45, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Your Edits to Veganism[edit]

First off, let me apologize that no one has yet welcomed you to the site. Second, I must inform you that your edits to Veganism have been problematic. I urge you to read up on the neutral point of view, three revert rule, and no original research policies before you contribute further. The veganism article is the result of a large amount of discussion and consensus-building from both pro- and anti- contributors. Making unilateral changes is frowned upon, especially when you persist on reinserting them after others have removed them. Please discuss changes you want to make on the article's talk page. Cheers, Skinwalker 01:08, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop.[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Veganism, you will be blocked from editing. Skinwalker 01:52, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. DO NOT make changes to the Veganism article without discussing them on the talk page, especially edits likely to be controversial -- Phoeba WrightOBJECTION! 01:57, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for vandalism of Wikipedia[edit]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 02:23, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your email message. You can still edit this talk page. Place {{unblock|your reason here}} on this page and another admin will asses your request. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 04:32, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Goodie_BLK_copy.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Goodie_BLK_copy.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

File permission problem with File:Goodie HeadshotN.Y.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Goodie HeadshotN.Y.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. SchuminWeb (Talk) 03:51, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

January 2015[edit]

Information icon Your recent edit to Vallejo, California appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you.
