Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2005–06 Reading F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James Harper (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Reading F.C. Under-21s and Academy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable team from a notable club. No in depth non-routine coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. List

With your article, List_of_Reading_F.C._players_(25–99_appearances), is there any particular reason why you're limiting it to players after 2010? Also, according to WP:NSOCCER, anyone that's ever been on the team meets the notability guideline for having their own article, so I think it would make sense to have a 1-24 list as well, with the aim of having every single player being on one of the lists. Also, even if someone doesn't have an article, still put brackets around them, so that they're redlinked, and someone's encouraged to create the article. If I knew anything about soccer, I'd help. ❤ Yutsi Talk/ Contributions ( 偉特 ) 16:18, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

Hi, I wasn't limiting it to players after 2010, just letting people know how where the list is updated to so that when they expand it they know which players need to be added. Perhaps I should alter the wording to make it more clear. I have actually just created the List of Reading F.C. players (fewer than 25 appearances) as well, and there was already a list of players with more than 100 appearances. I will make sure that I redlink any players without an article once they are added. Cheers. T 88 R (talk) 16:28, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

RE: Release list

Totally my bad on not moving it! I'm not a regular editor so I easily get distracted.

Most other sources will list players released during the off season alongside players transferred during the off season- this is how Sky Sports News do it, as well as Transfermarkt (see http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/fc-everton/transfers/verein_29.html). As a result, I think most people are accustomed to looking for players released between seasons in the list of transfers of the following season. If I want to know who left Reading in the last transfer window, it makes sense for the players to all be on one page. Checking the pages for Man United and Everton, that seems to be how they do it as well.

Re: Kelly & Hyam

Hi, nothing on them being with the senior squad, was thinking along the lines that signing their pro deals makes them eligible, therefor should be listed. Since no squad numbers announced for them probably best to remove them from the players list, but keep them signing in the season review as it's notable?
