I'm assuming that the above message is the product of someone using a semi-automated anti-vandalism tool? I changed the broken link that I stumbled upon (produced by { { SeeMagicPedia } } which broke due to the (magic) at the end of Max Holden) into a link that actually worked. But perhaps MagicPedia should not be externally linked to, I'm not sure. It may fall under the category "Links to open wikis, except those with a substantial history of stability and a substantial number of editors." mentioned in the list of Links normally to be avoided at Wikipedia:External links - If that is the case, there are 39 other links that should be removed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=magicpedia&sourceid=Mozilla-search as well as the SeeMagicPedia template. Correct, there is no blanket ban. But your videos are not produced by reliable news media, for instance--they are self-made. Drmies (talk) 04:21, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

The argument that they are self-made, therefore they cannot be a reliable source is also incorrect. It means it may not be acceptable, but it depends on the situation: "For this reason, self-published media is often not acceptable as a source. Self-published videos may be used as sources of information about their creator if they meet the requirements seen at restrictions on using self-published sources. In this case, the video is the direct evidence of the record itself. This evidence is combined with a reliable secondary source for that interpretation, the descriptions of the established regulations with secondary sources. Thanar (talk) 04:36, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

A lot of them had only a video link for evidence, and I have my doubts about the reliability of some of the other sources--indeed, I have my doubts about some of the records in the first place. The status of for instance the Bounce Page, and the organization that seems to run it, Bounce Juggling World Records, is not at all clear. Drmies (talk) 04:50, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

I can understand the logic behind rejecting unreliable video evidence. However, the Juggling world records page is a unique resource for the juggling community, and the videos that it refers to are well accepted primary sources.
