Your edits

[edit]

Hi, Thejoker585. Thanks for you contributions to Wikipedia and welcome to the community. There's a problem with your edits. The new pages that you are creating, such as User:Thejoker585Armin van Buuren, User:Thejoker585Mirage, User:Thejoker585Nadya Suleman, User:Thejoker585Sara Paxton, and User:Thejoker585Wired Equivalent Privacy have several problems. The biggest is that the name of the article. Draft articles should be subpages of your user account. You have given them user account names. Please read Wikipedia:Subpages to learn how to make and use subpages. The second problem is that those user space articles have encyclopedia categories, which shouldn't be done. Wait until you publish in name space before adding the articles. I am going to nominate the pages you created for speedy deletion to fix some problems. It appears the pages mostly exist in name space already so nothing is really lost. If you have any questions, ask me at my talk page. We look forward to your contributions in the future. I've userfied the articles for you properly. Keep in mind that to go as a subpage of your userspace, rather than a separate userpage, the sandbox name needs to be in the format of User:Thejoker585/Nameofsubpage. I moved the pages to the same names in that format, they will also still show up on your contributions to help you find them. You are also welcome to edit articles in mainspace if you wish to do so! Have a look at the welcome links above for some tips on doing that. Welcome again, and happy editing! Seraphimblade Talk to me 22:04, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. —ShadowRanger (talk|stalk) 17:48, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Non Free Images in you User Space

[edit]

Hey there Thejoker585, thank you for your contributions! I am a bot alerting you that Non-free images are not allowed in the user or talk-space. I removed some images that I found on User:Thejoker585/Shaman King. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use images to your user-space drafts or your talk page. Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 07:13, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Warning about article copies and explanation

[edit]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article; you might also consider using the Article Wizard. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Jason Quinn (talk) 16:45, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thejoker585, I have previously asked you not to include the encyclopedia categories in the draft articles that you are creating. Yet you are still creating them and many still exist under your account. User space articles do not belong in the encyclopedia categories. These drafts you are creating really serve no purpose but to disrupt Wikipedia. I have been assuming good faith and that you are using them as part of a translation project or something but it would be helpful to know why you need these pages as a link to the particular copy of an article you wish to translate serves an identical function. I am more than happy to help you figure out how to accomplish your goal, so if you need help, please contact me; but before doing so, please read Wikipedia:UP#COPIES, which explains that having permanent copies of articles is not allowed. Since the pages you are introducing to Wikipedia are disruptive, they may be subject to deletion. Jason Quinn (talk) 16:45, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Categories in user space pages

[edit]

Hello! I just wanted to let you know that I am editing some of your user space articles, such as User:Thejoker585/Dev.D. I am adding a : to each category so that the categories will still be visible to you on the page, but so that these pages do not appear in the main encyclopedia categories. -- KathrynLybarger (talk) 02:54, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User pages that look like articles

[edit]

Hi. I am adding userpage to all your userpages to make sure people won't mistake them for articles. D15724C710N (talkcontribs) 07:10, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:Thejoker585/Shaman King, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Thejoker585/Shaman King and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Thejoker585/Shaman King during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. —Farix (t | c) 14:56, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
